On tap at Capitol Beer during beer week, lots of grapefruit, a little less sculpin than Iíd want.

On tap at the India St Tasting Room. Gold in color with a decent off-white head. Aroma is of ruby red grapefruit, floral notes, and tons of bubble gum. Taste is of grapefruit, light orange zest, some bitter floral notes, and a hint of the bubble gum.

On cask: amber color, moderate head, good lace/retention. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, pine, light caramel. Medium bodied, moderate to high bitterness. Itís not overpowering, itís just really good.

This should be called grapefruit with Sculpin and not vice-versa. On cask at Blue Palms and the pour is gorgeous. The cask softens some of the citrus acidity without detracting from the aroma and taste. Lovely beer to drink but I do think the grapefruit runs roughshod over the hops.

Big thanks to dcschiller for sharing this growler. It poured out with a clear deep pure gold body that supports a light tan head. The modest aroma offers up grapefruit and orange peel and sugary malts with little needles of hoppiness. The taste has fairly fresh notes grapefruit fruitiness that gets into some nice resiny hop bitterness. Pretty nice but it doesnít have the grapefruit punch that I thought it would have.

On tap @ 38 Degrees/The Full Pint 6th. Golden colored beer with a white head. Pretty dank nose. Grapefruit, but not sure itís more than the regular. Pine, bread, and some tropical fruit. Nice grapefruit flavor, some peach, tropical fruit, and plenty of pine. Bitter finish, a touch of bread, and a really nice citrus character overall.

Tap at 38 Degrees for the Full Pint 6th Anniversary. Clear orange pour with webby white lace. Nose is stickier, near vegetal green hops, Asian melon, vanilla. Taste is white grape juice, hop resin, more pithy grapefruit in the finish. Long, grapefruit bitterness. Doesnít come across though as "Grapefruit Sculpin". Not juicy or refreshing. Just accentuated bitterness.

Gold pour with a white head. Flavors of the sculpin we love and a nice juicy grapefruit juice finish.

Shared by dcschiller. Golden pour with a white head. Aroma is a little weak, but the taste has some nice grapefruit on the finish. Pretty good.
