Our Grapefruit Sculpin is the latest take on our signature IPA. Some may say there are few ways to improve Sculpin’s unique flavor, but the tart freshness of grapefruit perfectly complements our IPA’s citrusy hop character. Grapefruit’s a winter fruit, but this easy-drinking ale tastes like summer.

Slightly cloudy copper pour. Nose is citrusy hops, grapefruit, caramel malt. Taste follows. Lots of grapefruit/citrus but perfectly balanced between fruit and hops. Soft caramel malt. Alcohol is pretty well hidden for 7%. Just a hint of heat late in the finish. Nice.

Très gouteuse ; l'amertume de l'IPA rencontre celle du pamplemousse. Un délice !

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear golden amber color, bubbly white head cover, streaks of lace. Aroma of citrus. Taste is caramel malt that adds solid citrus hops on the swallow. Hops and malt blast their way through a long finish. Big, bold, balanced. A really solid IPA.

Outstanding IPA, more flavor than the Sculplin. But just a notch below it. Doesn’t seem as well-rounded, and it’s hard to beat the perfection of the orig Sculpin.

This is becoming the baseline for craft beer. If you’re looking at this beer as a specialized release you may be neglecting the fact that this is distributed close to coors terms. It’s everywhere but still maintains its deliciousness.

Bottle - good size foamy head, medium gold color, definite big grapefruit aroma and flavor, fair may backbone, best part is this little shot of sweet grapefruit you get at the end, excellent overall ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

35,5cl bottle from a trade with Cunningham - thanks a lot! Pours clear deep golden with a lasting, white head. Rather hoppy aroma with a somewhat strange grapefruity note, at least it seems at first. Feels a bit artificial on the nose, but the flavour is really nice and natural. Moderate to medium sweet with citrus certainly dominating the flavour and a rather decent, but balanced bitterness. Tasty and quite delicious!

Bärnstensfärgad med stort vit skum. Doftar och smakar som den vanliga sculpin men med lite mer beska och grapefrukt

Another delicious Sculpin. I would almost classify this as a fruit beer instead of an IPA. Aroma was big and full of juicy grapefruit with not much else. Pour was a slightly hazy dirty gold with a thin white ring for a head. Taste was like carbonated grapefruit juice. Since I love grapefruit juice, I love this beer but anyone who doesn’t will be disappointed. The grapefruit overpowers all but the slightest hop flavor which blends perfectly. Nice carbonation rounds this beer out
