Our Grapefruit Sculpin is the latest take on our signature IPA. Some may say there are few ways to improve Sculpin’s unique flavor, but the tart freshness of grapefruit perfectly complements our IPA’s citrusy hop character. Grapefruit’s a winter fruit, but this easy-drinking ale tastes like summer.

Had from a bottle 2016/08//29, very nice grapefruit scent with a good IPA taste, no real aftertaste. The grapefruit gives it a nice summer taste, a bit of fruity taste to go along with the bite ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle to goblet Consummation: Loads of grapefruit leading into heavy bitterness and a citrusy sweetness Adjunct: Citrus, grapefruit, plumeria, nectar; crystal clear, light amber with a thin, but long lasting bright white head; this is a winner

355ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A remaining, bubbly, pearl white head to a bright golden body. Solid lacing. Good looking, indeed. Inviting aroma of floral hops and citrus. The taste character includes grapefruit and juicy malts with the dry bitterness of citrus peels to a lingering finish. Smooth on the swallow. Super refreshing (tasted together with the pineapple version, Tromsø 26.08.2016).

Golden with a white head - Hop aroma with some hints of grapefruit - Malt to support a good hop profile that has some grapefruits and other citus and there is some other fruity tones as well - The hops goes into the finish with some grapefruit and other fruits and ends dry - This was good

Alla spina. Limpido color aranciato, schiuma fine e soffice. Profumatissima, assale il naso con pompelmo rosa, fiori, caramello e tantissimo luppolo; gusto perfettamente bilanciato tra amaro e fruttato con note maltate, agrumate e resinose. Finale lungo, pulito e persistente. Giù il cappello!

Intense grapefruit, really not much else. Clear gold, small, creamy, white head. Medium bitter. Bittersweet grapefruit continues, bitterness intensifies, sour orange, yet very fruity sweetness remains, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Beautiful IIPA, very dominating grapefruit throughout. Keg at Republic, Minneapolis.

33cl bottle. Cloudy light golden with medium and lasting head. Aroma of the beer is more or less typical for a regular IPA but with more dry and zest side to it. It doesn’t smell any fermentation or alcohol ...more like a lemonade with strong tropical fruit and citrus juice. The beer is creamy and soft but quite thin body. Carbonation is delicate. The taste is overall dry and bitter but there is a good juicy malt background. Everything holds together : bitterness is really like a grapefruit peel but doesn’t last. Clean and fruity. A reference.

Half growler. Pours mostly clear orange-amber with a thin film of bubbles. Nose of grapefruit, toffee, green herb and resin. Taste is the same mix but with a bigger presence from the grapefruit and resin. Long finish has some minty-wooden hop and toast. Medium body has medium carbonation and a definite dry slant.
