3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz. can. Plenty of juicy grapefruit in the nose to start, along with notes of tangerine, lemon and pine, some light floral sweetness in the background as well. Sort of reminiscent of 5 Alive!. Gently hazy light-medium golden in color with a lasting, fine, uneven head. Flavor profile is absolutely overflowing with hop and citrus characteristics, fresh, leafy and juicy, including tons of grapefruit, pineapple, orange, lime, resinous pine and just a touch of countering malt, showing some light caramel and honey deep in the background, and finishing with a generous dosage of hop bitterness that dries out the palate considerably. Effervescent, resinous and lively on the palate, body is medium-full. Man, this is tasty and refreshing. Super awesome warm-weather beer. A stroke of genius on the brewer’s part.

Luktar extremt gott och väldigt mycket röd grapefrukt.
Smaken däremot är inte lika fräsch som utlovad. Ok men vanliga är bättre

Dark copper beer with a thin dense white head that leaves a lot of lace. Nose of grapefruit, pith, pine resin, and citrus oils. Flavor is predominately citrus hops, with grapefruit, tangerine, and mandarin orange all coming through followed by a slight sweetness from the malt. I don’t taste a huge amount of difference from the original Sculpin, and kind of wish the fresh grapefruit came though more since it is one of my favorite fruits. Still, a good beer.

Can sample at Beer&Beyond shop. Clear orange golden color. Wonderful aroma of grapefruit, citrus, pine and mango. Sweetish, with solid fruity hops backbone, taste of grapefruit and lemon skin, low maltiness, nice balance, pleasant crispy bitterness. Ligh-medium bodied, smooth and creamy. Great beer with a dangerous drinkablity :-).

Can sample at Beer&Beyond, Tel Aviv. Clear light golden with small off-white head. Nice aroma of red grapefruit with notes of bubblegum and some maltiness. The flavor has lots of red grapefruit, medium hoppy bitterness, some lemon notes, light malty sweetness, quite balanced, pleasant lingering bitterness. Moderate carbonation, medium-bodied. Excellent.

12 Fl Oz can via Piscator34. Pours a clear dark gold with a small white head. Aromas are heavy grapefruit and some orange. Taste is somewhat malty upfront, maybe some orange, finishing with a big citrus kick on the back end. Smooth and creamy, long dry bitter finish. Nice beer but a little too astringent to be a favourite.
