The rum barrel adds a brown sugary sweetness that balances nicely with the dark roast malt and hop bitterness. Don’t fear the monster! 10% before the barrel.

Pours almost pitch black with brown hues. Aroma is of rum, raisins, Breton sugar, roasted malts, and molasses. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a semi creamy mouthfeel with a semi bitter, slighty bitter, medium long finish. Overal, a tasty and interesting stout that makes nice use of a rum barel.
