3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pour is the color I’d expect to see 20,000 leagues under the sea... frothy head. Thick enough to be a stout. Im getting burnt coffee which is disappointing.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
appearance: silky near black, with a big, creamy, medium tan head. aroma: milk and dark chocolate, molasses, soy sauce, espresso, herbal hops. taste: dark chocolate pudding, espresso, vanilla, wood, caramel, molasses, soy sauce, slightly citrus hops. finish: fulsome, silky, with boozy heat not shy about joining the party. notes: A big, rich stout. I like them a little more balanced, a little less boozy. Still excellent. Bottle from Sarah for Beerthday 2015.
