Overall a good oatmeal stout- gas the characteristic smoothness, with coffee and chocolate flavors, a sweet finish and nicely balanced hops. In my mind, pales in comparison with the victory at sea. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BTBF. Dark brown color. Sweet chocolate aroma. Malty sugar, light roast. Flavor is dry, chocolately, super dry finish. More dryness...wow.

Slight dissapointment, although the competition is fierce in this category.

(Backlog) Black in color with a nice tan head. Roasted smells with some coffee and hints of chocolate. Roasted tastes with again coffee and chocolate.

Draft. From notes. Chocolate and coffee with some dark fermented fruits. Pretty good.

Pours jet black. Some light chocolate notes mix with solid hop flavored and some bitterness. Not overly thick, flavors mesh pretty well. Strong beer, it remind me of a black IPA more than a stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle:   Black as night, large foamy brownish head, sticky lacing.   Strong roastiness, heaps of dark chocolate graham crackers on the nose.   I sat on this for a while, so maybe it mellowed out.   Currently its a nice roasted malt Stout, low in hop, big in body, with a slight chocolate and graham cracker base.   Slight woodiness on the backside.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Strong roasty graham cracker finish.   Smooth, clean, with a nice sweet roasted graham cracker like finish.   Very respectable.

Very little head, and that collapses pretty much. Coffee flavors with a bit of sweetness on the back end. Body is pretty think for a stout.

Black with creamy tan head. Lite lacing. Roast, coffee, chocolate, mild caramel, mild citrus aroma. Full bodied, slightly syrupy, roast, chocolate, and citrus hop flavors. Balanced, roast & hop bitter combo. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Malzig-dunkler und prickelnder Antrunk, minimal bitter. Hier noch leicht schokoladig, zum Abgang wird dies sprunghaft intensiver. Etwas herb, mittel-aromatisch. Füllend malziger Abgang. 11/9/8/9/9/9
