Thanks to dirty_martni. Black pour, big brown head that stays. Aroma is sweet chocolate and a touch of coffee. Flavor is bittersweet chocolate, a hint of espresso, and a nice smooth caramel finish with some citrus hops in the end. Medium slick bodied with a good amount of carbonation and tame for 8%. Just a great example of a stout, very tasty.

22oz bottle. Nearly completely opaque brown black with a medium sized dark brown head. Chocolate, coffee, roast malt aroma with tinges of spicy hop. Dry, earthy roastiness up front. Baker’s chocolate, nutty, toasty flavors. Spicy and citric hops fade in and out. Nutty and coffee flavors linger in the finish, some roasty bitterness. Mouthfeel is a heavy medium, smooth and oily.

Bottle (22oz). Shared with blankboy, jerc, mabel, and tupalev - bottle courtesy of J&K. Poured essentially opaque black with a large foamy-fizzy lasting tan head. Sweet, overroast aroma; syrupy sweetened espresso, and just mild herbal bitterness. Sweet and soft tasting, not at all bitter, and not much alcohol at all for 8% - light and airy body and mouthfeel, a little light on carbonation, sweet and lightly grassy in the finish. Not bad, but forgettable.

Bottle shared with Jerc, Hogtown Harry, Blankboy, and Mabel, courtesy of Jerc. Nice roast aroma, some sweetness. Pitch black, small frothy brown tinted head. Good taste - rich roast, nice carbonated medium mouthfeel. Some hops in there as well. Alcohol not present. Simple but very very good.

Bottle (22oz) shared with HogTownHarry, tupalev, jerc & mabel -- courtesy of jerc. Pours a very dark, deep ruby with a large foamy beige head. Mild aroma of roasted malt, cold coffee and caramel. Flavour of lightly roasted malt and coffee with a light bitter coffee finish. Simple but decent. Medium bodied. Nothing special but I liked it enough.
