Commercial Description:
A dry stout with fresh brewed Cafe Calabria coffee. The flaked barley and oats serve to round out the body a little without the malty sweetness. Calabria is an independant coffee importer and roaster located on 30th st. in the North Park area of San Diego.

Tap at the brewery. Super dark pour, tan head. Nice coffee and chocolate aroma. Smoot oat flavor, nice easy drinking stout.

Draft. Blackish beer with a light tan head. Chocolate and oatmeal aroma. Huge oatmeal/barley flavor with coffee. Medium body. Lingering oatmeal, light chocolate, roasty coffee. Oatmeal is too strong. I don’t like lots of oatmeal or coffee in beers so why did I ever get this...

From tap at Solana Beach. Pours pitch black with a lacing tan head. Aroma is hard roasted malt and mild coffeeish. Flavour follows this closely with a nice acidic roasted malt touch and a light hoppy. Bitter and roasted malt finish. Nice and lingering.

~Pours black with thick creamy off white head. Almost looks like coke from all the carbonation. ~Strong malty, woodsy coffee scent. ~Coffee flavor with a nice bitterness. ~Creamy mouth feel. Bitter finish. ~This is a great beer. Yum!

Sample @ the brewery in Linda Vista. Pour was almost black with a small beige head that left good lacing. Some coffee and toasted aromas. Flavor was a little weak but, followed the Dry Stout suit perfectly.
