I had this sometime during RBSG in SoCal a couple-few years ago. Intense nettle-y sour on the first sip, with lingering berry skins, nettles, lemon seed, and spinach in the finish. The blackberries are wonderfully full in the middle, rich and bursting like you crushed an actual berry in your mouth after taking a sip of beer. The finish also had some kriek-ish, yeasty things going on. The smell was dominated by dark berries with a note of cherries in milk; it reminded me of Kasteel Kriek. Head is big and foamy pink, just like Todd "daSilky1", who wrote on this page of my notes, "I Love pre-pubescent girls." I didn’t notice that annotation until I got home, so I could never ask him if he was speaking for himself, or immitating me. And now we’ll never know . . .

Dark brown in color, hazy with a thin head. Big sour aroma and flavor. This was a super brew with a terrific berry flavor. One of the best berry sour ales I have ever had.

Draught Pink bubbles over gorgeous cardinal/Bordeaux red beer. Pure freshly picked brambles, but little else. Some taster say cedar. Rather thin, if nice, fruitflavour, again clearly blackberry. Tart finish. Dry, very dry, if a bit thinnish body. Nice... the AKA name, however is nonsensical, it is about as much lambic as Belle-Vue is, these days.

Tap at the Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours reddish black (or purple?) with a slight pinkish head. Aroma of tart/sour berry - but some sweet aroma too. Near med body. Flavor is more tart than sour. Very berry. Goes quite astringent eventually. Tasty. Adventure: Mixed some 50/50 with the Berryessa Whippersnapper. Chocolate and blackberry = good!

On draft somewhere in San Diego... It pours red with a distinct aroma of blackberries and wheat. The flavor is lightly tart fruity and very effervescent. Good blackberry flavor and a bready finish. Nice refreshing beer.

ballast point sour wench. consumed at hunahpus day 2012....pours a purplish pink semi-transparent hue and topped with a thin wispy head... aroma of semi-tart blackberries and backing grains... flavors are sweet and sour with a blackberry essence. refreshing with a lighter than medium bodied with average carbonation. not terrible in any way but pales to some of the other offerings.

On draft poured a dark red color, aromas of tart blackberries. Flavor is the same but not overpowering tartness. It was a nice blend of blackberries and tartness that went well on a hot day in the sun.

Nothing too exciting about this beer. There was nothing wrong with it but nothing to stand out. Seem fruit and tartness in a red murky liquid.

Tap at the ColLAboration Winterfest 2012. It pours ruby, with a thin pink head. The nose is sweet blackberry, blackcurrant and raspberry. The taste is sour blackberry, blackcurrant, Granny Smith apple, pear, red apple, raspberry and wood, with pear in the finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice fruity tartness. Not particularly complex, but utterly drinkable. Delicious.
