| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 6, 2009 2008 version. A beet red ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a light sour berry with light wooden notes. In mouth, a rather weak and dissapointing sour ale, with light cherries, a bit of epsom salt, chalkey notes, boring. On tap at Ballast Point 13 Anniv. Beer Festival , Oct. 24 2009. HonkeyBra (1401), Lemont, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 10, 2009 Sampled at GABF. Red pour with pink head. Aroma of sour fruit, I’m guessing blackberries. Lightly sour, somewhat sweet. I’m not going to hate too much on this, because for a fruit beer its pretty decent. nickd717 (1413), Palo Alto, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 6, 2009 On tap at GABF 2009. Next to Victory at Sea, this was really not all that impressive. Bright red in color with a small pinkish head. Aroma is blackberries and raspberries, a little like a fruit candy, sweet and only mildly sour. Flavor is not too exciting, a little funky with blackberries and other berries, red grapes, sugar, and a little tartness. Body is medium-light and palate is rather boring for what is supposed to be a sour beer. TampaBrew (907), Tampa, Florida, USA

Flavor is slightly thin but pretty tart, unripe fruit tartness, grapey, berries. angrypirate06 (803), Texas, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 21, 2009 On tap at Hamilton’s and served in some sort of half chalice type glass. The smell was interesting and combined with the flavor you could detect a bit of black berry but there was also a bit of tartness and graininess. Very easy to drink but I don;t think I would order another one in the future.

| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Jul 25, 2009 Stone Sour Fest. What a giant mess of a beer. Not much aroma (turns out a to be a good thing), and just a horrible flavor. Muddled, vinegary, nasty rancid mess going on here. Would much rather spend all day drinking PBR or even Bud Light than this nastiness. Avoid.
