3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow on tap with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma and taste are initially Belgian wit with a nice citrus and chilli back end. Spice is subtle and balanced, nice medium body and carbonation. Interesting take on a wheat beer.

Draught at the Ballast Point Tasting Room.
Cloudy yellow colour with a small white head.
Ginger, spices and pepper in the aroma. The flavour is pepper all over... some yeasty notes in the background. Spicy.

BP night at cap tap... Slightly hazy yellow in color... Aroma of spicy Thai chili peppers, wheat malts, lime zest... Flavor is Belgian wit initially, followed by chili peppers and lime with lots of pepper burn on finish.. Interesting but more of a novelty

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Solid belgian wheat aroma, but of bread, fruit and dryness come together very nicely. The spicing is relaxed to begin with, building, after the first third of the glass, to a nice warmth in the throat that keeps you going back for more. I really enjoyed this and would love it with dinner.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
June 1, 2013 - Beers like this make me acutely sensitive to how wimpy my palate is. Ballast Pointís Thai Chili Wahoo is an admirable beer, Iím sure, with a lovely smell of japaŮo and tortilla. But the taste is really, caustically hot. Itís brutal, and Iím happy to pass it off to a friend with a leather tongue. These brews tend to vary batch-by-batch, and maybe this was an especially brutal brew, but itís not something I can digest.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
a pretty tasty beer. Flavor is strongly thai green chili; donít taste much of the lime. I like the effect, but the taste has some disjointed moments when the spice hits the wheat.
