On tap @ O’Brien’s: Poured a glowing hazy yellow hue with a paper thin layer of head. The aroma was spicy and I was able to pick up a lot of the ginger as if it were the whole root shredded and diced into the beer while a faint background of lime leaf comes through as well. The flavor is intensely spicy with those spicy little red Thai chili peppers while also being punctuated with a squeeze of lemon and a taste of ginger. Wow did this stuff ever burn going down and while in my stomach—what an experience!

Beer is completely wacky...has all the flavors listed...it’s spicy, has a lot of lime and a noticeable ginger flavor as well. All on top of a light, grassy base. Overall I think it’s a little much, but it would go great with spicy Thai food.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy chili aroma with hints of ginger. Fruity wheat malty spicy chili flavor. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy hot chili and ginger finish.

The pour is a hazy pale yellow with a fizzy white head. Wow, almost overpowering ginger to open up on the nose. Quite a bit of lime and while there’s some chili, it’s not all that strong on the aroma. Just a bit of malt aroma and sweetness. The chili is heavy on the palate, particularly on the finish. As with the nose, tons of ginger! Light lime/citrus notes and even more restrained malt flavor and sweetness.

11 aug 3012, tap at the brewery. Really light yellow almost whitish, faintly cloudy. Nose is noticeably chili with faint lime. Thin body and slightly fizzy. Wow, big chili taste. Wheat beer flavor is lost, line is faint. This is just a medium for chili. That said, it is rather mild for what it could be. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Finally a beer that is actually spicy. This one is a refresher, huge lime and chili notes. the base beer could be better but with the additives im not complaining.

On tap at the Old Grove location. Light pale yellow with decent haze. Nose is yeast and lime and Ginger. Up front taste is high tart sweet. Lotsa lime and a good dose of Ginger. Clean and bright. High fresh chili pepper bite comes in late and stays to party after the beer is long gone. Not overpowering or off-putting, but obvious. Nice beer.

Pours a light yellow with a small white head. Aroma is of light chili, lime, and some light wheat notes. Taste is pretty spice with a lot of earth chili peppers, lime, some wheat, and some yeast. Has a medium body with a slighty creamy mouthfeel, and a dry, spicy finish. Overall a very interesting wheat that is a great warm weather beer.
