Tap at Ballast Point. The beer pours to a murky yellow body. Aroma of ginger, lime, and wheat. It had a nice wheaty flavor with a subtle ginger and lime. Light heat. Like a tom kha gai soup.

>> Hazy straw pour, minimal foam. Nose is spicy lemongrass, Thai Tom Yum spicy broth, sharp ginger root. Taste is the same, bright, only lightly spicy. Great palate, mild acid, bright flavors, no sugar, no paper, no mealy yellow apple. Impressive flavors but not overpowering. Should just replace regular Wahoo with this permanently. Yum.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Spicy chili pepper, light citrus, mild ginger, and a bit of heat in the finish. Decent, but this really isnít my thing.

Hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of bubblegum, ginger, chili pepper, and wheat. Tastes well spiced, but not much else going on. Light-medium bodied.

Itís a good thing Ratebeer deleted my comments about Wahoo White - I see in the meantime somebody added the ginger, chili and lime version, which is what I sampled at World of Beer Fest. It was really, really interesting. Mixing the spiciness of the chilis with the sweetness of a wheat beer works surprisingly well. I wouldnít sit down and drink a sixer, but the tall sample I got was outstanding.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Growler Country - on tap. Light, slightly sparkling, lightly hazy light golden with a very light snow white head. Hot aroma - peppers, hint of ginger. Nice pepper burn in the flavor, soothing ginger to calm it down, light lemon in the finish. Hot mouthfeel, but in a good way. Rather enjoyed this one.

The only place I donít get a character is in the aroma. the flavor has wheat, a hint of fruit Iím just the right amount of each and ginger. Really one of the best made herb spice beers Iíve had

Growler from taps. Happy anniversary guys. Definite chili dice especially on the finish. Touch of lime and cumin and the nose. Flavor is light with some lemon and wheat. Quickly moves in to the spice which dominates the later part of the experience. Interesting but not something Iíd drink a ton of.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Really unique. Mild wheat aroma with citrus and spice. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Medium weight with a fullness and sharp spice at the end. Wheat up front with lime and a follow up of chili and ginger. It sneaks up on you. Definitely worth a try.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the source. Pours a very hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is ginger and soapy. Flavor is hugely ginger and spicy. Some wheat and yeastiness. Yuck. Don't like this at all.
