COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Thai Chili Wahoo is a favorite in our tasting rooms for its complex balance of heat and spice. Orange and coriander have long been a part of our trademark Wahoo White. In this edition, we added a dose of Thai chilis, even more heat from ginger, and a counterpunch of lime. The flavors in this beer need to be experienced first-hand, so grab one and try it for yourself.

This is an excellent beer. It's got a little kick to it but it doesn't take away from the taste and flavor of the wahoo base. I love this brew!!

Pours hazy golden yellow with almost no fizz. Smells of citrus and spice. Taste is sweet, citrus, spice. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Ballast Point Thai Chili Wahoo finishes with a lingering spiciness.

Finally a beer that is actually spicy. This one is a refresher, huge lime and chili notes. the base beer could be better but with the additives im not complaining.

Citrus, ginger, and chili aroma. Cloudy yellow apearance with frothy white foam. The taste is sweet up front but rounds out nicely with a mild spicy burn that hits you in the back of the throat.

The only place I don’t get a character is in the aroma. the flavor has wheat, a hint of fruit I’m just the right amount of each and ginger. Really one of the best made herb spice beers I’ve had

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey. Hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of Thai chili, light ginger, lime, Thai basil. Tastes of Thai chili, nice heat, light citrus, herbs, lime. Medium-light body with a semi-dry finish.

Draught. Pours a hazy dark golden color with a moderate white head. Nose is hugely peppery with some great spice to it - reminds me a bit of Ghost Face Killah. Taste is quite spicy and hot; still drinkable, but not for people who aren’t a fan of spice.

On tap. Hazy yellow with a fizzy white head. Wheat, lime, and chili pepper aroma. Bright lively palate. Amazingly good lime, orange, and other sweet citrus flavors up front followed by a warming mild chili pepper and black pepper taste. Well balanced and damn good.

Bomber. Strong chili aroma with notes of lime citrus, wheat and ginger. Pours cloudy golden colored with a thin, non-retentive white head that also has no lacing. Starts with lime citrus and wheat flavors. Finishes smooth with a good amount of Thai chili heat as well as a little bit of ginger flavor to balance the heat a little, but the heat starts to take over with each sip. Very nice twist on their wheat.

Sample at Standard Market. I admit, I do like my chiles in my beers. Mix of spices in the nose. Hazy straw color. Taste brings on a light burn of chiles right at the start. Ginger is there, too. Can’t quite catch anything resembling lime, except for a note that I usually find with lemonglass, so I guess that’s it. Keeps up a little burn at the back of my mouth, but once swallowed, there’s little after-taste.
