Finally a beer that is actually spicy. This one is a refresher, huge lime and chili notes. the base beer could be better but with the additives im not complaining.

Citrus, ginger, and chili aroma. Cloudy yellow apearance with frothy white foam. The taste is sweet up front but rounds out nicely with a mild spicy burn that hits you in the back of the throat.

Draught. Pours a hazy dark golden color with a moderate white head. Nose is hugely peppery with some great spice to it - reminds me a bit of Ghost Face Killah. Taste is quite spicy and hot; still drinkable, but not for people who aren’t a fan of spice.

On tap. Hazy yellow with a fizzy white head. Wheat, lime, and chili pepper aroma. Bright lively palate. Amazingly good lime, orange, and other sweet citrus flavors up front followed by a warming mild chili pepper and black pepper taste. Well balanced and damn good.

On tap at the Old Grove location. Light pale yellow with decent haze. Nose is yeast and lime and Ginger. Up front taste is high tart sweet. Lotsa lime and a good dose of Ginger. Clean and bright. High fresh chili pepper bite comes in late and stays to party after the beer is long gone. Not overpowering or off-putting, but obvious. Nice beer.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. 12 IBU. Pours dishwater gold with a creamy white head. Real firm chili aroma. Think sliced serrano. Med minus body. Flavor is mostly chili. Med hot with a lime hint. Chili builds and burns. Nice change of pace. If rating several, make this the last one!

Draft at ballast point wIth Linh. Pours a bright yellow golden body with nice haze and white creamy lacing. Aroma is muted wheat and lots of pepper, lime and spice. Mouthfeel is hot spicy pepper, lime, and a very light wheat that rounds out the spice quite well. Not as in your face as the Habanero Sculpin, but still a nice aggressive heat that’s tolerable and drinkable.

Tap at Ballast Point. The beer pours to a murky yellow body. Aroma of ginger, lime, and wheat. It had a nice wheaty flavor with a subtle ginger and lime. Light heat. Like a tom kha gai soup.

I usually don’t like these types of things, but this one was different. POured a cloudy golden color with a white head. Aroma was of lots of lime, light yeast and wheat notes, and mild chili/pepper character. Flavor was very balanced, with very light heat, nice spritzy character from the lime and what seems to be chamomile with being zesty and refreshing. Me like.

Tap @ Toronado San Diego... Poured hazy, pale yellow with a very thin head. This hit the spot as for a pepper spiced beer. Lots of pepper flavor with balancing citrus and spices. Warming pepper spice coming through more and more with each sip. Some malt sweetness and wheated tones for balance. But this was a beast of a pepper beer.
