3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample at Standard Market. I admit, I do like my chiles in my beers. Mix of spices in the nose. Hazy straw color. Taste brings on a light burn of chiles right at the start. Ginger is there, too. Canít quite catch anything resembling lime, except for a note that I usually find with lemonglass, so I guess thatís it. Keeps up a little burn at the back of my mouth, but once swallowed, thereís little after-taste.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught at Berggrens ÷ltapp, Motala. Clear pale yellow/golden beer with a nice offwhite head. Spicy ginger aroma, chili, hay. Too spicy for me, heavy chili and ginger in the flavor.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
pale gold color; citrusy aroma with light ginger notes; a nice smooth wit beer with nice citrus notes and light ginger notes; chili notes come in at the finish- just slightly warm chili notes in the aftertaste; very well done

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light aroma, light (yellow) and clear color, light body, light beer. But spice. Oh yes, spice. And ginger. And chili pepper. Love chilis and ginger. A ton of fruit as well; picking up lemon, lime, orange and banana, mostly in the aroma. Quite complex and good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
bomber - nose chili pepper (habanero to me since I know little about chili taxonomy). This is great: very spicy with some heat, exotic, lime-y, and a tad grainy. My tonsils are not agreeing with this beer as they are tightening up: weird. Maybe I should have started with another beer before trying this one. I donít really get the ginger. I love spicy beers and this is has enough character to keep me interested. Yum! heat overpowers my ability to detect taste, but I get some sweetness from the orange and a little sourness from the lime.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle to tumbler
Consummation: Chili, lime, yup...chili and lime. I love chili beers and this isnít really complex but itís really hitting the spot. No wahoo is detected (which is a good thing, in my opinion)
Adjunct: I also love a beer where palate isnít an also ran, for this one, itís the thing. A little sour, but then all spicy; aroma is coriander and chili with light citrus; it still looks like a wahoo though which isnít too inviting. A pale translucent yellow

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bomber pours with a clear pale gold body that supports a weak white head. The aroma offers up Ďbeerí notes followed by chili pepper, floral hops, lavender, lime and then a modest shard of ginger spice. The taste delivers an initial blend of smooth soft sweet malts, some sweetened lime citrus and a building chili pepper meat sensation. The chili pepper note quickly ramps up into chili pepper hot burn all across the palate and reaching a non negligible level. Into the finish, noticeable below the chili pepper burn, is a murmur of flowery ginger spice. Interesting beer but if the chili burn was turned down a notch the improved balance would provide a better drinking experience.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Waho-ho-holy shit. Iíve drank white ale to help curb spiciness before. This beer would be a really poor choice for that. This Wahoo variant has a hell of a lot of Thai chili bite and gives this beer an equally pungent nose. While itís balanced well with the wheat and other spices, it will kick your ass if you drink too greedily. You get some juicy citrus notes from the lime and lemongrass and a fair amount of savory coriander. The oils from the lemongrass and chili linger at the finish. Guess which one you notice more... This is artfully done, but still rather intense. Certainly not something for everyone.

2.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20
A- Chilies, limes, lemongras, ginger.
A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head.
T-Very spicy, lime, chilies.
P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, spicy finish.
O- This smelled fantastic. Like a bowl of Pho at a Vietnamese joint. Unbelieveable. The flavor was about the same except with a shit ton of chilies in it. Way to spicy and couldnít even finish half a bottle. Too bad itís not more mild.
