4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Purchased from the Fine Wine Delivery Co. in a 650ml bottle. Malty / caramel aroma that you’d expect from a red ale. Palate shows intense bitter dryness (hints in the name I guess), but its what you’d expect from a beer with this weight. The alcohol is noticeable with considerable heat, but it does pull you back for another sip of cool ale. tu meke, too much cuz. big fans down under.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Cole’s in Buffalo, NY. Deep ruby red pour. Kinda boozy and very very heavy. Just a heavy beer, that’s the best wording I can think of. Good beer, nice hop bitterness for a red. But wow, chewy, heavy. Kinda tough to get through.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma has pine straw, caramel, nuts, and a fair amount of alcohol. Smooth and relatively (and surprisingly) mild flavor. Some grassy hops and a LOT of alcohol in the finish. I love red beers, and this one is good (but not great).

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Meditrina. Deep garnet red with lasting head and lace. Strong piney hop aroma with some toasted caramel and fruit. Toasted caramel and fruity sweetness balanced with big piney woody fresh hoppy bitterness. Fairly dry finish for abv. Slight woody red wine aftertaste. Medium body light for abv. Lively carbo accentuates hops helps keep it dry. Excellent.

Bomber. Floral hop aroma with caramel malt and citrus. Pours ruby red with a large tan head with decent retention and very little lacing. Starts with sweet caramel malt flavor. Finishes dry with floral hop bitterness with a bit of citrus that lingers on the palate. Nice, drinkable red ale.
