Cask at O’Brien’s, San Diego. Dark amber. Aroma of lychee and cherry. Sweet and full bodied with clean mouthfeel. A major hop monster, backed by solid amounts of malt, the mouthfeel is however a bit mellow. The finish is sugary with punishing bitterness.

Hazy brown - red beer. Nice creamy off white head. Soft smooth palate. Toffee caramel malt base for very nice hops. Piney, grassy. Sweet pineapple and a little spice. Whilst your enjoying the hops the malt turns soft and creamy. Finishes soft and fruity. Top notch red.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy red amber color, compact head. Moderate aroma of fruity hops, oranges and other similar fruits, lightly animal too. Bold structure, the sweetness is moderate, not excessive, the malt profile seem to reveal too much Crystal; the bitterness is very strong and the hops come with a quite harsh wood resin, just lightly fruity, and heavily roasted nuts; I find that these beers are almost buttery sometimes.
Aggressive, good, but a bit too much over the top.

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours a rich, maroon-ruby with a sturdy white head. Strong hop aroma, some citrus, and plenty of sweet malts as well. Very sweet flavor, some dark fruit notes. Hints of bitterness sneak through the extremely sweet character of the beer. Body is thick and somewhat syrupy, with a lingering sticky finish. Really intense and really good.
