3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma has pine straw, caramel, nuts, and a fair amount of alcohol. Smooth and relatively (and surprisingly) mild flavor. Some grassy hops and a LOT of alcohol in the finish. I love red beers, and this one is good (but not great).

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Meditrina. Deep garnet red with lasting head and lace. Strong piney hop aroma with some toasted caramel and fruit. Toasted caramel and fruity sweetness balanced with big piney woody fresh hoppy bitterness. Fairly dry finish for abv. Slight woody red wine aftertaste. Medium body light for abv. Lively carbo accentuates hops helps keep it dry. Excellent.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Heavy malt aromas of roasted and caramel, moderate cooked orange for the hops, light dough for the yeast, and date, brown sugar faint spice and a hint of licorice in the background. Head is small, fizzy/frothy, beige, with some slippery lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is dark reddish brown. Flavor starts lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic and moderately to heavily bitter, then finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, oily, with a lively carbonation and a moderately alcoholic finish. A potent yet smooth American Strong Ale.

Bomber poured into a Sam Adams tulip style glass. Great reddish amber color with golden undertones. Mouthfeel is bold and layered. It seems more like a super hoppy red ale. Big red malts wrapped in massive bitter piney hops. Completely unbalanced but awesome.
