Bottle shared with mspindler. Hot chocolate smell with notes of vanilla extract. Very great balance of chocolaty goodness with vanilla and caramel. Dark color with nice brown creamy head. Very great porter, very smooth.

RBSG 2008, on tap at the brewery. Pours black with a tan head and red hues at the edges. Very roasty aroma, fresh espresso and coffee flavors. Flavor like a nice coffee ice cream, smooth and delicious. I had no idea this was 12%, you can’t taste it.

On draught at the PB Taproom $3 per pint!. Arrived an opaque darkest brown with a moderate beigey head. Aroma is rife with coffee and bitter chocolate, along with herbs and alcohol. Flavor is roasty bitter, hugely featuring coffee and dark chocolate, with the alcohol noticible but well hidden for 12%. Full body and gentle carbonation.
