Big bold high octane porter with a touch of vanilla on the taste and aroma. For being 10% abv it definitely delivers. A little boozy but should be excellent to age and see what happens! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had this in a bottle (2011) at Datz and was served at 55. Aroma was similar to a yeasty abby ale. It poured with a nice head and nice dark brown color. First taste the vanilla mostly, smooth and enjoyable. At it warmed up a bit the coffee came foward in taste. What really made this a great drink was a sip after a bite of cheesecake. WOW the "3rd" flavor you got when mixing with cheesecake was an amazing sliky smooth vanilla cheesecake flavor- Awesome! Really liked this imperial porter.

Chocolatey aroma with light vanilla notes. Full bodied chocolatey (with light vanilla notes) and a nice roasty finish that lingers. Pours black with khaki-colored head that settles.

On firkin at Toronado. Black with a creamy light brown head. Big vanilla bean chocolate and coffee aroma and taste with a dry bitter finish.
