3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft to taster at Dutch’s. Looks good; a hazy golden orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells tart, wheaty, and yeasty with notes of ginger. Tastes like it smells with some pepper spiciest as well. Average on the palate. Alright, but not really my thing.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Dutch’s. Totally hazy golden orange door. Thin off-white head. Leaves loose dots of lace. Nice citrusy, lightly peppery nose, good belgian wit yeast aromas. Bright, orange citrus in the nose. Some lime in the finish of the flavor. Nice ginger in the body, and an awesome chili pepper kick in the finish. Moderate sweet taste, aside from the chili heat at the back palate. Very nice combo overall. Medium body. Smooth, lightly soft, lighter carbonation. Slick mouthfeel - probably largely due to the pepper making my mouth water. Very tasty, interesting stuff.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours pale whitish yellow, somewhat hazy with a white head. Aroma is a cocktail of spice and fruitiness. The lime, ginger, and chilli all seem to jive well together with none of them taking over from the others. The spiciness is certainly there, but this doesn’t completely kill your palate like ghost face killa. The base beer is hard to find in all the additions.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2015 On tap poured into a 4 oz sampler. A wonderful aromatic combination of sweet orange and lemon, with a nice lighter chili and lime note greet the nose. It’s a very hazy pale with a white head that reduces to a couple puffs, but doesn’t leave any lacing. It’s a really refreshing balance between a light sweetness and spicy hot bitterness. It’s light body is very effervescent and thin in the mouth and is complemented by a nice, full spicy warmth mouth coating at the finish with perhaps a touch of resin. This spiciness lingers for a long time - like just eating a bunch of hot salsa - so be careful because that spiciness refuses to go away.

Great aroma...great balance wheat and chili. Looks like it should too with big head. But too lean over power burnt pepper..,not much else going on.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Capitol Beer. Pours golden with a nice white head and a mild malty aroma with a hint of pepper. There is a faint wheat flavor that is totally overwhelmed by pepper.

George’s Bachelor Party September 2013. Great heat and nice beer overall. Can’t think of a better way to treat a wheat beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at House of Brews - Pours a cloudy golden/yellow with a little white cap. The noise is wheaty, spicy, and a little lime. The taste is nicely balance. Its bready with a mix of the thai spices, ginger, and lime. The heat hits you slightly in the end, nothing over pouring. I’m not a fan of wheats but this is pretty good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draft at the Livermore Saloon. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. It pours a very pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of wheat with very nice subdued hints of hot chiles and ginger. The flavor is very spicy with good chile burn and a bit of lime tartness to go along the the wheat. The ginger seems to come across a bit on the sweet side… This beer is super spicy and hot, but it works with a smaller base beer. I liked it.
