COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Thai Chili Wahoo is a favorite in our tasting rooms for its complex balance of heat and spice. Orange and coriander have long been a part of our trademark Wahoo White. In this edition, we added a dose of Thai chilis, even more heat from ginger, and a counterpunch of lime. The flavors in this beer need to be experienced first-hand, so grab one and try it for yourself.

Bomber poured a clear yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of wheat, chilies, yeast and light lime. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry warming finish. Flavors of wheat, chilies and light lime with a smooth dry warming finish.

This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was the hazy yellow color of "wahoo." Thin white head quickly dissipated. Lacing, what lacing, yeah, not there. The smell starts off with the thai chili strong and tight over top of some light lime. The taste basically is the same taking in some salt and ginger to balance and make a tad spicier than expected. Dry salty/spicy aftertaste. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a hard sessionable feel to it as the thai chiliís are still biting on my tongue even as it warmed as it did. Lips seem to be clinging together (a sign of definite "heat") from the spice. Carbonation feels fine. Overall, well, though "wahoo" itself seems a bit lost in the mix of it all, Iím thinking BP just over thought this one. Could be me, but is there a bit too much trying to go on? Its a definite palate wrecker. Unsure if I would have again for me, but hey as a spice/vegetable beer, I can see it since the "wahoo" seems to be so lost.

Hazy golden with a thin evaporating white head. Lovely Belgian white wheaty nose with a pleasant pop of ginger and light floral chili. Smooth wheaty flavor with a gentle leafy/floral chili, a little pop of ginger and a clean wheaty bright Belgian estery finish. A lot better than I thought it would be.

Bomber from Xroads. Poured a slightly murky dark goldish-yellow with a smaller fizzy white head. Aroma is blah, dull wheat and malt notes dominate followed by bad lime juice and a hint of pepper that grows with warmth. Flavor has a big hot pepper blast throughout and some breads and grains with a slight hint of lime at the very front and very back. Medium body, average carbonation and strong lingering heat. Meh....could be good outside at a bbq.

22 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy bright yellow with a medium creamy white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is funky yeasty malt with chili spice and some lime.

The flavor is funky yeasty Belgian malts with citric lime and ginger and quite a bit of chili spice in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, an interesting beer with a lot of spice.

650 ml bottle. Pours a light hazy amber with light head. Aromas of coriander. limes, and wheat. Flavors are same with roasted pepper and throat burn. A nice twist to a wit. This one works for some reason...

Bomber. Strong chili aroma with notes of lime citrus, wheat and ginger. Pours cloudy golden colored with a thin, non-retentive white head that also has no lacing. Starts with lime citrus and wheat flavors. Finishes smooth with a good amount of Thai chili heat as well as a little bit of ginger flavor to balance the heat a little, but the heat starts to take over with each sip. Very nice twist on their wheat.

It pours hazy golden orange with a patchy white head. The aroma has ginger, meaty peppers, lime and more peppers. I donít get much beer on the aroma, but itís certainly intriguing. It has a fairly light body and has semi sharp carbonation. The taste starts with the peppers up front style, but the wit portion is there with smooth wheat, citrus and mild ginger. The finish is clean and snappy. Pretty tasty.
