COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A fresh, unfiltered brew perfect for lazy summer days. Our Wahoo White is brewed with unfiltered, un-malted wheat and oats that give it a distinctive cloudy complexity. True to the Belgian tradition, this Witbier boasts a refreshing, citrusy flavor thanks to the orange peel and coriander we add to the boil. This makes Wahoo an ideal beer for year-round beach weather.

On tap at the Yard House in San Diego. Cloudy pale yellow. Thin white head. Looks like a shanty. Esters in this smell like butt. Heavy yeast aroma. Sweet, but no tartness. Slightly grainy during mid taste.

(Draft: Ballast Point Brewing Co. in San Diego, CA) Very mild flavor, probably the lightest wit beer I’ve tasted; Moderately sweet, mild spice early, some orange peel, and a little lemony in the finish; Light, clean palate, but very carbonated; The nose shows some wheat malts and a spicy nose, but is fairly light overall; Extremely pale yellow in color, somewhat hazy, almost the color of Sauvignon Blanc; Small white head dissipates rapidly, so no lacing

This witbier pours with a cloudy pale yellow body topped by a thin head with some lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet yet sour with an odd, raw meat, smell and a touch of yeast. The flavor is slightly sweet yet sour and slightly bitter with a nice lemony note. Light bodied, crisp and slightly dry.

Nice unfiltered appearance; yellow-orange in color. Wheat and fruite (especailly banana) on the nose and palate. Great taste and very refreshing.

On tap at the Yard House, San Diego. Hazy yellow colour, thin, soapy head. Flat, soft mouthfeel. Quite a grainy wheat flavour, less sweet than similar US wheats I’ve tried, with a jolt of lemony sharpness to finish abruptly. Nice, though less pleasant than Pyramid (still).

Cloudy yellow pour with nice head. Mild taste and refreshing. Nice light banana and subtle malt flavors.

Draft: Pale cloudy appearance, little noticeable aroma. I was swaying between wit and hefe when I was drinking it because I really didn't get all that much spice. Light, citrussy, tart and slightly bitter.
