A fresh, unfiltered brew perfect for lazy summer days. Our Wahoo White is brewed with unfiltered, un-malted wheat and oats that give it a distinctive cloudy complexity. True to the Belgian tradition, this Witbier boasts a refreshing, citrusy flavor thanks to the orange peel and coriander we add to the boil. This makes Wahoo an ideal beer for year-round beach weather.

A very nice, easy drinking Wit. Nothing too crazy going on, but it’s always nice to throw down a few of these if you have to drive somewhere or attend your AA meetings because you can keep a good game face going. Full of cloves and bananas and you can get just a quick, fleeting hint of the orange peel. A nice blend and good show.

Nice bit of head that leaves quickly with no real lacing. Great flavor with a finish that leaves you wanting more.

Draft at Lucky Buck’s Burgers in San Diego. Pours cloudy golden with a nice white head. The aroma is fresh and has citrus notes. The taste is sweet and light and quite drinkable. A decent Americanized Wit.

Bomber from Ledger’s in Berkley, CA;; musty wheaty yeasty, nose; slightly hazed pale gold with a medium white head and lots of carbonation; sour flavor without much else; A CALIFORNIA SOUR WITBIER? Is this a new style?

Bottle from Bevmo in Chino. Poured a very attractive gold color, moderate haze. Aroma of citrus, yeast and some malt. A fairly average version of a wheat beer, but easy to drink.

22oz bottle from Bev Mo La Mesa. Pours a hazy golden color with an off white head that was quite big. Aroma was a bit citrusy with some yeast. A pretty good unfiltered wheat beer.

22oz bottle poured a cloudy gold color with a decent sized head. Aromas of wheat and sweet malt with a touch of yeast. The taste was nice and clean with a bit of citrus and no immediate flaws. A refreshing wheat beer that would be nice on a hot day.

This one is a mystery. Had it in bottle format and liked it alot. I got a lot of spices and citrus from it. But, I had it on tap (Cheswicks in Ocean Beach) a couple of nights ago and thought it was bland and boring. Reminds me of Widmers Hefeweizen, to be honest. Great brewery, but this is not their best.

Light aroma of wheat and lemon; light spice. Maybe I have it too cold. Hazy straw color with a white head that disipated quickly. Starts with noticeable carbonation, then wheat, then lemon, followed by some mild bitternesss. With the passage of time the lemon seems to become orange. Not your usual bananany wheat. Good.
