COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A fresh, unfiltered brew perfect for lazy summer days. Our Wahoo White is brewed with unfiltered, un-malted wheat and oats that give it a distinctive cloudy complexity. True to the Belgian tradition, this Witbier boasts a refreshing, citrusy flavor thanks to the orange peel and coriander we add to the boil. This makes Wahoo an ideal beer for year-round beach weather.

Enticing citrus fruity aroma from a cloudy light gold pour. Taste is refreshingly tart and full bodied with a restrained but cleansing finish.

Bottle from Costco, San Diego. Slightly peppery phenolic aroma with some wheat and light citrus/orange. Flavour is sweet phenolic and light celery with almost no bitterness and a very faint orange accent. Medium light body, moderate to medium carbonation, almost crisp.

[2/20/15] Draught at Ballast Point Old Grove in San Diego. Hazy yellow. Aroma of fruity esters, wheat and coriander. Sweetish flavor, wheaty, fruity (quite citric) and spicy. Quite light-bodied.

Pours a cloudy lemon yellow with a soda-like white head. Smell is pretty plain, some yeast and wheat. Taste is also mild: some sweetness, faint hint of banana, maybe a little spice. Pretty true to the style but lacking complexity. Refreshing, but not much more.

[Tap] Golden colored pour with a nice amount of head on top. Only a faint haze to it. Sweet and grainy aroma. Flavors of banana, coriander, wheat malts and light grass. Light in palate and with a crisp grassy finish. OK overall.

Bottle from ck1, thanks bro! Pours very clear pale yellow with a white head. Somewhat effervescent. Aroma has sweet fruits - light - with malt and spices. Taste is of sweet fruit, some sweet malts, tangy spices - all light - and some grapes. Light bodied. Finishes tangy yeasty with fruit and some sweetness from the malt. Shrug? BP does a lot of good stuff, but they do not overcome the style issues here. 12.6

Another bottle from the mixed 12-pack. Pours out a thin greenish-yellow color with a thin white lace. Aroma and flavors are really lacking with this one. Watery mouthfeel. Quite a sad effort, IMO.
