2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 FlyingSwine (171) - Littleton, USA - JUN 1, 2008
22 oz bottle. This was visually one of the ugliest beers I’ve encountered. The appearance of a highly watered down wit, slighly cloudy with almost no coloration. Aroma was light but typical of a Wit...corriander and citrus. Flavor was the same, but a bit more pronounced than the aroma. Palate was a bit watery. Overall a middle of the road, drinkable Wit. With that said, I probably won’t be stocking the fridge with it.

The aroma is sweet and wheat like with bananas, cloves, and lemon grass. The appearance is cloudy yellow with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall more than a typical Witbier style wise which worked this time.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 thornecb (3093) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Sour summer fruit aromas. Sweet spritzy wheat upfront turning watery in the abrupt finish.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 bubbleflubber (1228) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - APR 14, 2012
It pours a clear golden into the glass, with an initially wispy head that reduces to a thin, tiny ring of bubbles. Yeasty floated break up and form a cloud as the brew progresses. The nose is nondescript, but of cereal and wheat. The flavors ring true of cereal, Apple Jacks and light hay. The finish is lingering wheat and more nondescript cereal notes. Mouthfeel is thin with active carbonation. Meh, decent lawnmower brew, but not hitting on a lot.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 J_man (416) - Tustin, California, USA - MAR 29, 2012
22 oz. bomber from Albertsons in San Diego off Balboa Ave. (why did my entry for this disappear??). Starts off with an aroma that would make me guess this is a Saison due to the strong yeasty, dry hay and coriander notes. Pale yellow and quite hazy with a quickly dissipating white head. The initial taste is also very Saison-like with the aromas following through, but this quickly evaporates into a very light, bready wheat beer flavor. There’s a little bit of citrusy sourness around the edges and it finishes with the wheat flavor coming through along with a lingering taste of Saison. A very enjoyable and refreshing wheat beer with a twist.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, thanks for the pour Aaron! Nice hazy yellowish pour with thin white head, aroma brings notes of slight funk, big lemon, touch of bready malt, hints of spice and coriander in there as well. Taste is a bit sweet, with a nice mix of sweet lemon and fruity esters, some coriander and bready notes but in general a pretty nice mix of flavors. Ends a bit sweet.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 adnielsen (3704) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 21, 2012
Bottle @ Armin’s house. Somewhat cloudy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Somewhat spicy, coriander, a touch tart lemon/orange, effervescent, sweet wheat malty aroma. Tangy yeasty, spicy bready, unmalted wheat, tangy citrusy flavor. A bit above average.

Appearance: Pours a clear gold.
Aroma: Aroma is wheaty.
Taste: sweet, wheaty, usual witbear taste.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 wlajwl (1786) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - MAR 20, 2012
Aroma is wheat grain and a subtle spiciness. The flavor is lemon/citrus, a mild tartness and a good malty undertone. Very subtle in flavor, nothing was too strong but blended very well in the flavor.
