Poured into my Lagunitas mason jar glass. Color is dark brown with a head that disappears almost instantly. Aroma is lightly roasted malt with a touch of spice in the background. Flavor is almost non-existent... there is a touch of roasted malt in the background, but it’s mostly water. If you brewed a tea with the leftover mash of some other beer, this might be what you’d get. Palate and mouthfeel are water. I cannot believe this is 7.2% ABV. Overall, possibly one of the most underwhelming beers I’ve ever drank...

Bottle from Fresh and Easy in Vacaville, CA. Pours very dark brown with a slight beige head. Aroma of warm roast malt with some grassy/spicy hop. Full bodied. Flavor is mostly dark roast malt with some lightly spicy and herby hop. It’s ok, but not very intense in flavor. Finishes dryer than expected. Drinks too well for the ABV!

Amber in color. Slightly malted nose with a hint of roast. Fairly mild taste. Some roastiness and a hint of hops. Fairly easy drinking. More flavor than their Lobotomy bock, but still a little on the underwhelming side.
