3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nutty malty aroma. Dark golden with moderate amount of white head, clean slightly sweet taste with low bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. A nice easy drinking pils.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Slightly hazy gold with quickly dissipating head. Grain aromas with a touch of lemon blossom. Citrus and stone fruit flavours provide a refreshing beer with a gentle, but long bitterness from beginning to end. The malts allow for a nice full mouthfeel which can often not be the case with this style. Not too bad as a refresher at the end of the day.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
330mL bottle bb 26feb13
Golden body, great clarity, small ring of white foam persists.
Mild aroma; cereal malts, light toastiness, subtle floral & herbaceous hop, with just a hint of acetaldehyde green apple in the background.
Medium body, nice soft carbonation, bit of malt texture.
Much of the same on the palate; cracker biscuit malts, floral hops. Finishes somewhat abruptly, lingering herbaceous character and moderately low bitterness.
Not a bad pils.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle - straw with a short lived white head. Cereal and nuts aroma. Not a great deal of taste, definitely not the hop flavour you would expect with a pilsner.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours pale amber and sparkling with light carbonation. Head is little more than a thin fluff of loose bubbles but manages to hold on for dear life. Vegetal waft wanes to reveal some clean pale malt and dusty, spicy hops with just a hint of hay bale. Light toast and sweet Munich malts with a hint of melanoidins on the palate. Body is very light considering. The carbonation hefty making it a little harsh. Sweet malt finish with just a faint hint of peppery hop. Low bitterness. Lasting malt flavour. Not exactly a Pilsener but quaffable enough avoiding becoming cloying. Meh! (33cL, no date stamp, 1st Choice Liquor, Midland)

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Orange glow with no head and low carbonation. More like an APA than a pils. Slightly cordial in taste with little depth.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours gold with a fading white head.
Nose shows honey and soft floral and spicy hops. Not too bad.
Similar flavours. Some bready malt and spicy hops. Afterwards some stale cardboard notes show up.
Body feels a bit watery.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a dark golden color with a decent head that fades quickly to traces of lacing. Aroma of malt and nuts, with a bit of grain in the background. Bit of citrus nip and a faint malt sweetness and a bit nutty. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly light body, crsip, quite smooth and refreshing. Decent balance. Drinkable beer, has a bit of character not found in a lot of Pilsner stlye beers.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Amber with an inch of white head. Aroma is bready with mild floral and spice notes. Promising. A little on the watery side. Taste is sweet and grainy with dull bitterness. Some pepper at the end, but the promising hop notes in the aroma are swamped by erm... classic Oz lager notes. Just OK.
