Pours golden with a white head. Looks appealing. Mild citrus aroma with minimal hop character. Sweet malt backbone, light bodied with medium carbonation. Not much hop flavour. A little citrus sweetness with some rind to round it out. Decent but not memorable

Tap. Strong honey flavour which is not the worst, but still has a bit of that skunky lager taste/smell that appeals to the masses. Not the worst

From a bottle. Pours a clear golden orange with a tiny head. Malty aroma with a hint of hops, fruit flavours with a mild bitter aftertaste. It’s well carbonated and refreshing with a crisp finish.

Poured attractive orange-amber with nice creamy white head. Aroma of sweet citrus and white bread notes. Watery and almost no flavour initially, moving to rind-bitterness. Contrastingly, the body is full with a good length to the finish. Overall all good except the very important part - flavour.

Bottle. Slightly hazy gold with quickly dissipating head. Grain aromas with a touch of lemon blossom. Citrus and stone fruit flavours provide a refreshing beer with a gentle, but long bitterness from beginning to end. The malts allow for a nice full mouthfeel which can often not be the case with this style. Not too bad as a refresher at the end of the day.

330mL bottle bb 26feb13 Golden body, great clarity, small ring of white foam persists. Mild aroma; cereal malts, light toastiness, subtle floral & herbaceous hop, with just a hint of acetaldehyde green apple in the background. Medium body, nice soft carbonation, bit of malt texture. Much of the same on the palate; cracker biscuit malts, floral hops. Finishes somewhat abruptly, lingering herbaceous character and moderately low bitterness. Not a bad pils.
