omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Dec 28, 2006 Bottled. Clear golden, minimal head. Vegetable aroma. Fairly hard mouthfeel with an unclean fruity mess of a flavour. Light-medium bodied. Sugary. Compares poorly even to other macro lagers. fiulijn (6010), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Nov 10, 2004 Can, Baltica Dry
Golden color. Very light aroma. At first it’s mellow, like a Strong Lager, suddenly becomes dry and quite bitter. Quite uninteresting. faroeviking (4589), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Jan 23, 2007 Bottle. Golden colour with a short white bubbly head. Weak grainy and bit hoppy aroma. Flavour is crisp, grainy and hoppy. Dry finish. Drinkable. Sully (1362), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia Sep 11, 2005 Updated: Mar 16, 2006Another variety of cerveza sudamericanas that is just like all the others. Drier than the other Baltica, perhaps obviously, and therefore less flavourful and enjoyable. A damning thing of course. No more on this but for a comment that it laced well in the glass. Big deal.
Earlier Rating: 8/30/2005 Total Score: 1.3
Just the beer you expect to find in Chile. This sure is a long way from a beach in Jurmala, just as the flavour is as far away as a quality European beer. The colour is pale and typically topped wth a creamy head. The nose is sweet and unexciting, no hops just a sweet lolly aroma which is replicated in the flavour. Typical beer of the country unfortunately. beerledgend (808), Meadowbank Auckland, New Zealand Aug 28, 2006 mild chemical aroma. dark gold in colour with big white head, that disappeared quickly. pretty much coloured water.
yet another can from Sullys shopping trip!!
