First of all, this beer can says "Dry" on the front, so I’m not sure if this is the same beer as what’s listed here. Pours with a nice head that lasts along with some lace. The nose is a tad crisp, but the first thing I notice in the taste is a sugary sweetness! Definitely not Dry!! Not a bad beer, but to sweet for my preference. Brought it back from Tierra del Fuego last Jan and it’s been sitting in the fridge since. BBE date: 29 Mar 05.

(in can, supermarket in Chile). Golden color, near to the color orange tree. Alcoholic aroma, and something of candy. The cereals and the rice are obvious very much. (And probably that more). The flavor is something bitter and with something of candy. In the palate the body is regular, animated, but with a bitter end. It is a alcoholic beer. Anyhow I remain with the "Escudo".

Bottle. Golden colour with a short white bubbly head. Weak grainy and bit hoppy aroma. Flavour is crisp, grainy and hoppy. Dry finish. Drinkable.

Bottled. Clear golden, minimal head. Vegetable aroma. Fairly hard mouthfeel with an unclean fruity mess of a flavour. Light-medium bodied. Sugary. Compares poorly even to other macro lagers.

Clear golden appearance. Small white head that disappears quickly and eaves no lacing and just a tiny film. Aroma is strongly of rice and adjunts tough with traces of cereals. The flavor is overall sweet though it is initially bitter and its finish is bittersweet. Strong carbonation, medium body, a bit chalky aftertaste. I strongly recommend to drink it while it’s cold.
