drpimento (534), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Jul 10, 2005 First of all, this beer can says "Dry" on the front, so I’m not sure if this is the same beer as what’s listed here. Pours with a nice head that lasts along with some lace. The nose is a tad crisp, but the first thing I notice in the taste is a sugary sweetness! Definitely not Dry!! Not a bad beer, but to sweet for my preference. Brought it back from Tierra del Fuego last Jan and it’s been sitting in the fridge since. BBE date: 29 Mar 05. Panzerfaust (377), Santiago, Chile Nov 23, 2005 Updated: Apr 22, 2006Shows a clear gold color with a medium white and short lived head that leaves no lacing.
Aroma is very unclean with notorious adjuncts like corn, rice and metallic touches dominating. There are som hints of straw and cereal also.
Flavor is slightly bitter with a sweet note in the middle and a decent bittersweet aftertaste. There are traces of honey and vanilla.
Alcohol is always present. Highly carbonated also with a thick texture and an abrupt finish. Very strong for a Lager, in the mouth feels more like a Malt Liquor or a Strong Lager.
Better than Escudo but not by much. Lilith (242), Santiago, Chile May 30, 2006 Clear golden appearance. Small white head that disappears quickly and eaves no lacing and just a tiny film. Aroma is strongly of rice and adjunts tough with traces of cereals. The flavor is overall sweet though it is initially bitter and its finish is bittersweet. Strong carbonation, medium body, a bit chalky aftertaste. I strongly recommend to drink it while it’s cold. fiulijn (6010), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Nov 10, 2004 Can, Baltica Dry
Golden color. Very light aroma. At first it’s mellow, like a Strong Lager, suddenly becomes dry and quite bitter. Quite uninteresting. Likeburning (149), Franklin, Tennessee, USA Feb 25, 2006 This was a very light yellow color with a thick white head. The aroma was semi-sweet for a pale lager. The taste was crisp and suprisingly good. n(for a pale lager)
