brewshthereen (316), Oregon, USA Aug 25, 2004 For a light beer this actually has some flavor profile. Pale yellow pour, with a fizzy white head. Corny, grainy malt aroma. Sweet malt, honey, with slight suggestion of butter. Some hops also. Unfortunately, becomes real bland and watery at the end. However, this is probably one of the better light beers I have had. My first russian brew.
dkachur (1070), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Oct 16, 2008 50 cL can from Sam’s Quik Shop. Golden yellow pour with a medium quickly dissipating head. Metallic and corny aroma. Taste is grain, corn, grass. Some metallic notes. Medium bodied. Honestly probably the best Baltika pale lager. BlackDonald (1039), North Carolina, USA Aug 12, 2008 This is lawnmower, summer beer. Refreshing and clean at least, but not much of a body. Faint fruitiness, a bit of malt sweetness. liinis (506), Finland Jun 20, 2008 tastless clear watery piss of a beer. has to be one of the mildest experienses in my life. FatPhil (2408), Espoo, Finland Jan 6, 2008 500ml can.
Light yellow, quickly dissipating head. Smells of aroma, but not much else. Taste is a whole mixed bag of things - ranging from a sweet light maltiness, to nothing at all, to cooking apples, to nothing at all, to beer. No, sorry I was lying about that last one. A masterpiece of blandness, but at least it wasn’t nasty. If I’m being fair, I will own up to a little hint of hop in it. But that might just be the finish of last night’s 100gram still. omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 11, 2007 Canned, thanks oh6gdx Pale yellow, rich firm head. Fruity aroma with melon and pineapple Sweet and fairly light bodied with clean mouthfeel and notes of vegetables. Very low bitterness. refreshing (for being a BBH beer).
