Bottle from ABC Beers. Typical golden pilsner appearance. Faint aroma and flavour. Watery and uninteresting.

Baltika 2 und 3 sind beides Helle Lagerbiere. Baltika 2 hat 4,7% das 3 4,8% Alkohol, hoffentlich unterscheiden sie sich wenigstens Geschmacklich etwas mehr. Die Schaumkrone dieses Lagers hält nicht gut. Geschmacklich schmeckt es ausgefallen, aber nicht besonders lecker: Ziemlich reisig und süß-säuerlich, dazu ein laff-fruchtiger Eindruck. Im Nachgeschmack noch etwas reisig-säuerlicher. Fazit: Das es mal was anderes ist ist ja schonmal positiv, überzeugen tut mich der Geschmack aber dennoch nicht, leider.

Smells like a damp rag that urgently needs to be washed out or even thrown away... tastes slightly better than the smell. Some hints of malt.

Bottle I found in a small Russian market somewhere in Tilburg. Decent taste, clear yellow / golden color, smell fair.

500 ml bottle from Chisinau at Back to the USSR Beer Session 17. Aug.2010. Straw coloured body. And then a bit hard to describe. Smells of malt, banana and wet sponge. Roasted chestnuts, plum with hints of cinnamon and vanilla, with a kind of bandage finish. STRANGE!

Baltika 2 mit Reis gebraut. Wässrig, minimal hopfig. So startet das Bier nicht nur, alles scheint sich um diese minimale Hopfigkeit zu drehen, fast schon lachhaft. Lange Zeit passiert absolut nichts, bis es im Abgang aromenreicher wird, soll heißen getreidig, aber auch nur sehr leicht. Weiter wässrig. Wenn es wenigstens mit "Goldbier" gekennzeichnet wäre...

Mäßige Optik. Geruch dem der "Goldbiere" gleich.
Im Geschmack zunächst brotig mit etwas Hopfen. Danach nichtssagender und flacher Verlauf. Das Bier prickelt zwar ganz gut, ist geschmacklich jedoch eine Niete.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are malt, grass and hops.
