Baltika 2 und 3 sind beides Helle Lagerbiere. Baltika 2 hat 4,7% das 3 4,8% Alkohol, hoffentlich unterscheiden sie sich wenigstens Geschmacklich etwas mehr. Die Schaumkrone dieses Lagers hält nicht gut. Geschmacklich schmeckt es ausgefallen, aber nicht besonders lecker: Ziemlich reisig und süß-säuerlich, dazu ein laff-fruchtiger Eindruck. Im Nachgeschmack noch etwas reisig-säuerlicher. Fazit: Das es mal was anderes ist ist ja schonmal positiv, überzeugen tut mich der Geschmack aber dennoch nicht, leider. If value for money was a category, i would give it a higher score, it was every penny of the 69 cents for a 1 pint bottle at Pioneer Supermarket, NYC. Frothy head the fizzed up and disappered instantly with zero lacing. Sinister looking in the glass, very clear, like a urine sample with strange clouds of bubbles tyhat seemed to appear from nowhere. Flavot not so bad. Very dry, with elements of lemon, stale bread and malt. The beer equivilant of a dry mournful Russian novel. I will by again, well, at .69 why wouldn’t I?

Your typical lager. I was fooled by the BevMo description. Bready aroma and palate, but otherwise ho-hum. I don’t see myself revisiting this one again.

Basic good to quench the thirst better than Heineken, but not much. I think this is Russia’s version of heineken or carlsberg it’s a typical representation of the style.

This is a pretty "laid back" lager for an import. The hops in it are not nearly bitter enough for my tastes. There was a background nutty taste and finish. Overall it isn’t a bad beer but is a little too "pacifist" for me.

pale golden color,small white head,the aroma was corny at first but it later gave up a bit of malt and graininess.Flavor of light malt and mild sweetness,some light hops at best and a nice finish in the end.over all pretty smooth but nothing overly great eather.
