Basic good to quench the thirst better than Heineken, but not much. I think this is Russia’s version of heineken or carlsberg it’s a typical representation of the style.

Nov 3, 2008 50 cl bottle - thanks to Eivind. Clear golden color, disappering white head. Aroma is grassy. Flavor is sweet and grassy. Refreshing, but thin.

Oct 27, 2008 This isn’t a bad lager at all. Tastes like a Dutch or German lager, but with a little more flavor and mint undertones. Not great, but pleasant, and I’m the last one to readily complement lagers.

Oct 15, 2008 500 mL bottle from Sam’s Quik Shop. Pours an apple juice color, clear, with a one-finger creamy head. Aroma is slight skunk, heavy grain and a sweetness I suppose comes from the rice. Very dry grassy taste. Medium bodied.

Sep 28, 2008 Bottle: Poured a clear golden color with a white head. Little to no aroma. Taste is a clean corn and grain, refreshing.

Sep 27, 2008 This is essentially a pale lager, an imitation of Budweiser and other odious brews. The aroma, flavor, appearance and palate all typical for this style. The beer emits a spicy, grassy aroma. The appearance is the same old yellow with white head. The flavor is affected mainly by the adjuncts, like rice and corn. The palate has a slight hoppynes to it, nothing remarkable. at least now I’ve had all the Baltika beers, 1-9.
