50 cl bottle, born on 22.11.2014, bbd 22.11.2015. Pale yellow color big bubbly white head, fizzy. Aroma of faint grains and grass, some vague fruity tones. Flattish taste, no palate features. Carbonated, dry finish, a bit harsh. Average lager.

500ml bottle. Clear, pale yellow colour with a small bright white lasting head. Light aroma of grassy hops, grains. Taste is a little bland, nothing stands out other than some light maltiness, and a light bitterness. Nice but boring.

Bottle. Moderate aromas of grain, grass, light note of leaves, and cardboard in the background. Head is average size, fizzy, white with slippery spotty lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is sparkling clear medium amber. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes slightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively carbonation. A pretty simple Pale Lager, drinkable but not much else.

Pours a classic yellow clear lager. No real aroma, perhaps slightly metallic. Taste is also slightly metallic, slightly bitter but no aftertaste. Drinkable but nothing special from the thousands of other lagers out there.

Lager is probably the worst type of beer and unfortunately the most common one. This one is not the exception, but among all those Eu lagers, this one is not among the worst. I do not like even to explain lager taste, aroma or colour, because it is always the same boring explanation: pale yellow, white foam etc. Anyway, this Russian monster brewery is somehow better than other monster breweries. And this is exactly the same also with this lager coming in one liter can! It is from Russia, isn’t it?

Goldgelb schlechter Schaum, im Geruch flach eher süßlich sauer, im Geschmack flach leicht metallisch das scheint bei Baltika normal...
