Yellow with a fairly persistent head. Slight hop aroma. Typical pale lager taste, thin watery with just a bit more malt than usual. Not bad for what it is.

Weak aroma of sweet malts, maybe corn. The color is a very light yellow, almost urine colored. The flavor is bland, but not any more so than most pale lagers. A little bit of corn residue on the palate. Not impressive, but not bad comapred to some other pale lagers.

Bottle. Yellow lager with high carbonation. Fairly sweet with cereal and very little hopping. Reasonably clean lager but mostly boring.

500ml bottle. What I find hilarious about this particular beer is the date of production is my actual birthday, from this year which was my 19th! Anyways, this is a paler than most pale lager, and it has all the essential elements of a nice simple lager. Medium carbonation, somewhat straw like malts, with a sourish citrus finish. In my view, a truly refined palate should be able to appreciate the simple beauty of lagers such as this. I wish the LCBO imported more Russian beers, but sadly they’re too busy with every single stupid brand of vodka known to man *rolls eyes*.

[533-20070816] 500mL. Grainy corn vegetable aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Grainy yeast flavour is mostly generic vegetable. Medium-light body has a good grainy feel. Smell is under par, otherwise fair.
