Oh so smooth palate with a nice, sweet aroma. Golden yellow appearance; somewhat cloudy, with a fairly nice, lasting head. Refreshing taste, nothing too overpowering, but enough to satisfy me.
I would love to find this brew on tap, as it would make a great drink by the pool or beach. natali (27), Ukraine
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Mar 31, 2007 Clear golden-copper with a big white head and lively carbonatation. Strange sweetish honey aroma. Bitter-sweet flavor, a bit too sharp and a touch of hops and acidity at the end. Medium mouthfeel. So so pale ale... alexanderj (2227), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Mar 29, 2007 Draft; golden with a small to medium white head. Aroma of corn, malt and hops. Flavor was about the same; not an amazing beer, but it did have some above average flavor for the style. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 26, 2007 With a thick bright head and golden grassy hop flavor, many folks find this beer boring, but I found it to be a great sessions beer. Available in both bottle and can, this beer is really nothing to write home about, but very easy drinkin’. thehurt01 (202), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 23, 2007 A 1 pint 9 oz bottle with no date or freshness information on it. The beer poured a pale yellow with a creamy white head that is thick and leaves a lot of lacing. The smell is of a faint malt and cereal smell. A taste of malt and wheat with a faint bitterness of hops. The carbonation is good and the finish is clean. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 31, 2007 A friend and I got together on 1/30/2007 to have a "Salvation" tasting and he brought over a couple bottles of Baltika 3 for us to enjoy with our pizza before the tasting. This was my first exposure to both Baltika and Russian Lagers in general. To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but overall I was quite pleased with this particular beer. It really hit the spot at the time and complemented the pizza nicely. It pours a pale yellow color with a foamy white head that actually didn’t disappear too quickly and left some light lacing. It had a good amount of carbonation without being over carbonated. The aroma with light malt and delicately sweet like creamed corn or something. The flavor was similar with a modest bitterness toward the finish. This beer was well balanced in flavor as well as mouthfeel. It is a lighter beer, but isn’t compleltely lacking body or some perceptable mouthfeel as an American macro lager would. It was smooth and clean. I enjoyed this introduction to Russian Lagers and I would drink this particular beer again in the future. I will also have to try out the other Baltika beers over time...
