Derek881 (489), Frederick, Maryland, USA Dec 16, 2006 Poured from 500 mL bottle a slightly cloudy gold color with a large white head. The body and texture were a little bit thicker than I expected and the carbonation was fairly high. The taste was mostly bitter, with a slight sweetness. Aroma was of corny and grassy hops. The beer was ok, but I was hoping for better. oh6gdx (8802), Vasa, Finland Dec 3, 2006 Canned. Pale yellow colour, almost no head. Aroma of maize and alcohol. Flavour is paper, grass and is quite horrible. Typical canned chemical waste. nick76 (2636), Tampa, Florida, USA Dec 3, 2006 The aroma has lightly toasted malt and grassy hops. The appearance is pale gold with a nice foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma which means it’s extremely boring but has both sweetness and bitterness. The palate is thin. This one is not as bad as the #2 but it’s not all that either. The bitterness is just to astringent. HarryFlashman (469), Chatham, Kent, England Nov 27, 2006 Updated: Nov 28, 2006This Russki beer is absolutely disgusting. I can’t fathom what it tastes like, but its horrible. Actually, it’s almost radiactive in taste: could this beer be the link to the mystery of how the Russian spy was poinsoned to death in London?!?! Sully (1367), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia Nov 25, 2006 Classic what? Oh yes, a pale lager can be a classic. Another ordinary beer that really doesn’t deserve too much attention, wither as a beer or a rating subject. guzzler67 (1272), Hanover, Maryland, USA Nov 24, 2006 Pale, golden yellow appearance with a medium size white head that coagulated as it shrunk. Musty, vegatal aroma of corn. Coarse, grainy taste. Light bodied mouthfeel with fizzy carbonation. Nearly a drainpour. patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Nov 22, 2006 bottle - Pours pale yellow and fizzy... yep, it looks like a typical macro lager. The mild aroma has light malt and a hint of hops. The flavor is grainy and light and the body is watery, though not as thin and flavorless as some beers of this style. At least it’s better than Baltika 9. tomthompson89 (1460), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 15, 2006 bland drinkable borring lager, tastes somewhat like they r using corn in this one. but i guess a decent lager, would be more drinkable with warmer weather
