Baltika 3 Klassicheskoe (Classic)

Tasted overly dry with quite a watery, metallica taste. Not terrible, but they should just stick to their Vodka.

Bottle, very carbonated, a bright yellow with a rocky foam white head. A very grassy (fresh) hop aroma. Very dry palate, very very grassy hop flavours. Yep, it’s a lager.

Watery, lame, chemical beer. Not too much to say besides. As bad as a Budweiser or Tsingtao on the blandness front, but because i’m a snob and i like something about the branding, and because it’s not quite as bad as those beers, then it comes slightly above them my list. - similar to poretti.

Poor lager. Nothing distinctive about this. Not much of any kind of taste. Seems like some form of Budweiser Select, yet somehow slightly better.

Bottled. Fizzy yellow. Mild head. Mild flavor. Mild nose. Overall, mild, but clearly drinkable.

Found this one bottled in Belvidere, Illinois. Standard yellow fizz. Sweet and sour nose of canned corn, notes of apple cider and some malty bitterness. Inoffensive, and for my first Russian beer, certainly drinkable.

500 mL bottle. Gold with decent head. To quote the last guy, "faint sweetish grassy aroma with apple notes." An inoffensive lager - no corn! A little sweeter than others, perhaps. Not much finish. A lager that would be welcome on the dock if served icy cold.

Small white head quickly shrinks into thin white ring. Light yellow body with ongoing carbonation. Faint sweetish grassy aroma with apple notes. Taste is grainy apple with strong grassy notes. Some chalk. Dry, papery aftertaste. Unpleasant papery bitterness settles in the mouth. The initial taste is the best thing about this. Not so good. (0.5l bottle.)
