One of my favorite Baltikas. These beers have the feature of sweetness and this one, well, is less sweet than B0. It has a sweet aroma, most of all cereal. It has a good smoothness when drinking it and it has a good body with a nice blond color.

GIJOE (600) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - OCT 17, 2013
Pretty standard pale lager. Pours yellow and fizzy with a white head that quickly recedes to a thin circle and some lacing. Nose is lager yeast and grain. Taste is a touch sharp, with hop bitterness dominant and a backdrop of malt. Creamier than I expected. Probably medium bodied. Lively carbonation. Decent beer. Damn sight better than mass produced American piss beer, which goes in and comes out the same color and aroma, and probably has about the same flavor. Слава летающе& макарон& монстру&

BOTTLE 50CL. Head: white, medium, frothy, avg. retention. Colour: straw, clear. Aroma: very weak, grainy, dms. Taste: sweetish malt, „sweaty”. A bland crappy lager.

Good beer. Smooth. Easy to drink. Good aftertaste when you get used to it. I would buy this again.

Kita (1000) - Koper, SLOVENIA - OCT 7, 2013
Bottled, 0.50l. Clear straw color with large frothy white head, nice lacing and almost flat visible carbonation. Aroma of hay, grassy hops, grainy malt, mild floral honey, paper and a bit of skunk. Taste starts with light sweet malt and cooked vegetables, followed by grainy and light citric acidity, while finished moderate grassy bitter. Light body, thin texture and soft carbonation in palate. Refreshing, but unpleasant...

First Russian beer. Bought in random store in Moscow. Nothing to write home about just like your average mass lager. Goes down but not more than that...

Can picked up in Omaha. Pour is clear golden with a small white head that quickly dissipated. Grainy, corny, light biscuit, straw, somewhat metallic aroma. Taste is corn, straw, grainy, chalky, weak hoppy. Light body with carbonation. Weak lager.

500ml bottle from a supermarket in Vyborg, enjoyed from a tea glass in a hotel room, light clear gold colour, small white head, aroma is cereal and grass, taste is very balanced, medium body, fairly mild aftertaste with some nuttiness. Actually way better than I expected, nothing interesting really but above the avereage European bulk lager.

0,5L bottle 4.8% abv and 12’. From supermarket in Kremenchuk UA. Scents of hay, hay in a barn, hops, mild meadow. Tall fragile head fast diminishes. Leaves some bent patterns inside the mug. Body straw yellow, tiny tiny bubbles. Tastes hops, bitter malts, then sweeter malts, smoked chestnuts. Alright mouthfeel without watery black holes. Aftertaste as rye bread, dark chocolate, and overall a refreshing nice lager, when served chilled!
