omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 10, 2006 Canned. Clear golden, fizzy head. Papery nose. Sweet and medium bodied with fairly soft mouthfeel. Not much happens flavourwise, except for some vegetables and blod cutting in towards the finish. rw4244 (128), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Apr 9, 2006 Bottle, 50cl. Murky, off gold in colour. Poured but with no real head, which faded quickly in any case. Light Body, low carbonation. Had a slightly malty aroma, which accompanied by a slightly bitter lager taste. Barely noticeable finish. One of those thousands of average lagers, more interesting than bland commercial brews (a la Fosters) but I wouldn’t get it again if I had a choice. kwoeltje (1313), Manchester, Missouri, USA Apr 8, 2006 (bottle) Very pale gold with large white head. Malt aroma. Fairly crisp with modest malt and a hint of hops. Light bodied. Your basic pale lager. madquacker (707), Canberra ACT, Australia Apr 7, 2006 Pretty ordinary. Dull and boring boring boring. Flat head and a blandness which is overwhelming. Tick it off as another beer rated, thats about it. Foxbush (452), Richmond, Virginia, USA Apr 6, 2006 This is my first Russian beer. It was purchased at the Caboose in Ashland, VA. It was foamy with a very white head. The beer was a claer yellow and not unlike many American beers. It did not have the body and full flavor of other beers. Some hops and modest malt. This is just too tame for my taste. Lunkie (1020), Glen Iris, Australia Apr 2, 2006 Smokey hop malt aroma. Clear yellow colour with poor head and lacing. Bitter malt hop flavour. Flat palate. sanmiguel (118), Illinois, USA Mar 23, 2006 Surprisingly good! Well carbonated, no skuky scent (considering the bottle’s best before date was February 2006) the bottle I drank had a smooth, dry malty taste to it. Recommended ice-cold. SimonLarsen (210), Sydney, Australia Mar 20, 2006 A suprisingly non offensive lager. Not much to it sure but not much to detract from it. Bonus points for being a half litre beer, I like those. Perhaps I over rate based on the unexpected lack of evil emanating from the bottle....
