Bad look, bad smell, bad mouthfeel.. Ugh Tastes like TUSSIN, or Vapo-Rub or some awful childhood medicine. I don’t even know how that’s possble Corner (3), Alterswil, Switzerland does not count | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 7, 2006 It’s my first beer I try from russia. I am a little disappointet. It is a standard lager with no character. I hope, there are better beers in Baltika GG (1620), NorCal, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 7, 2006 Probably my least favorite that I’ve had from Baltika. While it’s not horrible, it’s not good either. Aroma was a bit corny and grainy like an empty bag of Cornuts. Appearance was the standard pale yellow with a nice laced head. Flavor seems a bit chemical with a malt backing. I think that this would be great after doing hard labor, but otherwise I’d pass on most days. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 3, 2006 A good balance, fair head, fine flavor, a nice sized bottle. Slightly less than standard ABV. Good round overall at the Brickskeller, esp to start off the furious conversations of the night. willblake (2174), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

Hazed, pale straw, a few particles of something, and a lofty but quick white head. Aroma is full of cereal grains. Sweet flavor is a bit cardboardy and ends bitterly. Not very good. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 29, 2006 Not much head, nor ’effervescence, straw color; nose; a bit of malt; mouth: a bit of malt, a little more carbonation, a bit sweet as a finale; definitely not a great beer but what I needed after painting TheBeerOrg (1569), Kentucky, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jan 22, 2006 Pours golden with a fully receding white head. Aroma of honey, toasted biscuit, and fruity esters unbefiting of a lager. Taste is sweet toasted malts and honey. Some notes of corn and DMS noted as it warms. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Too sweet and not very refreshing. bridge (659), Sydney, Australia
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jan 16, 2006 Pale gold with a frothy dodgy lager head. Had that typical malty lager presence, with an offensive aroma - what I could detect anyway. The flavour is sweet, with some bitterness coming in a metallic fashion, like sucking on some copper coins. There’s a touch of carbonation, but otherwise it’s quite inert, which makes it a rather easy, but pointless, drinking beer.
