Bottle. Best before 24.08.04. Poured a large sized white head with fine, small and large sized bubbles, good lacing, transparent, and a yellow hue. Aroma was malty and hoppy as was the flavor. Tingly palate. Medium body.

Aluminum can. Clear very pale yellow. Sweet alomsot cidery aroma. Light apple flavors with maybe some light malt. Nothing technically wrong with it I guess, but it was plain, bland, boring. But it didn’t taste bad or offensive - so points there.

From a can. Poured a clear pale yellow. Aroma of sweet malt. Fruity flavor almost like a fruint drink/punch. Clean with a very mild bitterness on the finish. Light bodied. This wasn’t too bad, it was just light and plain.

A light straw color and white head. Little aroma and a light grainy taste. Not offensive but like drink water.

(500ml bottle, dated 02.04.06) Crystal clear pale straw body topped by a big white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grainy, light grassy, faint apple. Taste is medium sweet, bread, cereal. Minimal bitterness. Watery light body, no crispness. Not offensive, just bleah.

pours golden with a decent sized white head, aromas of corn & malt, taste is also corn-like comparable to most american premium lagers, nothing great, but not horrible.

I had a beer in the Moscow in 1981 which was unspeakably awful. No wonder communism collapsed. This is an unremarkable but quite drinkable lager, pale yellow, decent head, bit of sweetness and bitterness.

(Rating #246).
