imdownthepub (5087), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Jul 4, 2005 Bottled, pasteurised. Yellow straw colour with white head. A little more interesting than expected, some biscuity malt with a sharp CO2 twang, but on the whole a thin mass produced pale lager. Imported by Scottish Courage, I see, well it is a little more tolerable than their efforts over here. maupie (593), Roosendaal, Netherlands Jul 2, 2005 This beer has a light yellow body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had no carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is like light bitter. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA Jun 27, 2005 This poured a pale yellow, and had typical lager nose and taste. The taste was light, but still much better then bud. BeerBlockaid (538), Jacksonville, Florida, USA Jun 25, 2005 pretty typical in your lagers. Not really much to go on about in trying to present it in being any diff from the rest. more of a write off. Kinz (2179), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA Jun 24, 2005 Clear, medium yellow, decent head, rather attractive on this hot day. Aroma was grainy, with a touch of a sour note. Grainy flavor, a bit of straw, and some bittering hops at the finish. Honestly not that bad. TChrome (1296), Bedford, Texas, USA Jun 23, 2005 This seems like the typical pale lager. Clear pale golden color with a well retained whipped egg white head. Aroma of bland hops, and straw. Flavor is corn sweetner, and some moderate hop bitterness with just a tiny bit of malt grain flavor. Above average in terms of pale lagers, but pretty horrid by any other standard. roder60 (1019), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 20, 2005 Pours an extremely clear light yellow with a decent amount of fizzy/foamy white head. Aroma is typical grassy pale lager. Flavor is not good at all. Sweet, grassy and not smooth at all. Definitely a piss poor, overpriced brew. Avoid. Nuffield (2718), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Jun 10, 2005 Gosh this was bad. Really really bad. It didn’t even have the best qualities of an American malt liquor. Pouring rich yellow with a white head, the aroma set me off with a musty, corn, cardboard sensibility, and in the mouth there was insufficient carbonation to off-set the watery, moderately sweet body. The flavors struck some wrong notes as well. I thought this was pretty bad, worse than most macros. It wasn’t even tolerable in combination with various foods that I tried to eat to mask the flavor and mouthfeel.
