Mild aroma, fresh, lightly spicy. Light bodied, softly malty and very drinkable with a recognizable hop presence and touch of fruitiness. Had a little more body to it than a typical BMC etc- no barnburner but it seemed well made and went down pretty good. Best by-back label. dwyerpg (2529), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Head is terrible...but then you get to the beer and things get better. Smooth, unassuming beer - very drinkable at any time. frankenkitty (1900), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 23, 2005 Lightly yeasty aromas with a hint of... bubblegum? Large fizzy white head reduced to a literal "scum" in a couple of minutes. Medium bodied, slightly bitter with metallic afters. Not very appealing. iambeer (255), Ontario, Canada
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Feb 22, 2005 Appearance was of a dull yellow, as was taste, could think of a few basement bargians to beat this. Had slightly metallic taste. Hardly worth what the LCBO charged for it. heemer77 (4303), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 21, 2005 Bright gold body with a foithy white head. Strong malty aroma of carrots and even some onions. Lots of bread. The mouthfeel is light with plenty of carbonation. Tastes are honey, bread and celery. A light bell pepper and apple core finish. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 19, 2005 The best part about this beer is that it is smooth and sweet. The downside is that it is a bit wobbly and unbalanced. As a sidenote, the number 3 on it apparently denotes darkness. The higher the number, the darker the beer (at least, according to my dad). pootzboy (1045), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 14, 2005 Last and saddest of the 10 commie Lagers at the LCBO. Pours a very protirelin hazed pale straw color...small cap, moderate lace. Aroma: again with the veggies!!! what is this with the Ruski brews?....they got no barley??? >grainy corn tastes, weak body, sweet, fast finish no hops to speak of....bad beer..leave it on the shelf...it’s obscene cheap commie slop like this retails for over 2 dollars in Canada. punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Feb 13, 2005 This truly is a happy beer. Call me crazy, but if you’re gonna give this beer an 11%--go drink something else and send your bottles to me. A very complex, yet subtle brew, this beer is golden with a quickly dissipating white head. It has a very floral nose with a golden strawy taste, mixed with hops and malts. A very nice beer--quite quaffable. I could drink many of these and would, if they were available in Birmingham or Memphis. Great beer!
