Pale golden beer; thick, fine, very white head, fast gone. Vanilla, wet hay, faint grain - very vaguely sourish smell. Sharpish grainy-malt taste, or some adjunct, some faint cookie. Sweet, but with again a sourish edge. Liquorice in the finish. Light MF, bit fizzy. Small burning aftertaste. Half litre of boring lager - ’nuff said.

Nice astringent aroma. Mildly bitter bite in the flavor along with a hoppiness in the aftertaste. This isn’t a really bad beer, just not very remarkable either.

Bottled. Bad, adjuncty aroma. Sweet, grainy, very adjuncty taste. Woah, another crappy beer from Baltika.

Compact but decidedly evanescent foam. Yellow clearly, much pale and extinguished color. Little fizzy. Hardly perceivable bitter. Watery. Practically it deprives of whichever merit or particular characteristic. Scent nonexistent and difficult to perceive.

Pours clear. Very bland taste, weak as far as lagers go. Nothing special here. The Budweiser of Russian beers.

I had liked the wheat and the porter by this company so I decided to sample the lager with at least some reasonably high expectations. Sigh. What I found was Chernobyl mineral water. Sampled from a 16.9 oz bottle this beer poured a straw yellow color with a large bleached white head. The head was creamy at least. Sour macro aroma dominated. Sour macro flavor followed. I have had worse beers but this one now brings this brewer down some in my esteem.

Creamed corn and light grassy hops in the nose. Clear golden coloured body with dense, creamy, white head that recedes to lasting cover and laces well. Crisp hop flavour with some sweetness in the finish. DMS suggested by the aroma is completely missing from the flavour. Light body and medium carbonation but refreshing and very drinkable. Bottle.

Clear pale yellow. Large creamy white head that sticks around a while. Sweet corn aroma with some citrusy hints. Crisp slight hop taste that is mostly sweet and a bit of grain. Weird dry pineapple finish. Not too bad of a mouthfeel. Better than I expected. Much more drinkable than American Pale Lagers.
