ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Aug 28, 2004 Updated: Feb 23, 2005Bottle. Pours a clear, straw yellow. Big white head. Aroma is of light light barley, nothing much there, maybe there is some lemon, maybe I’m just imagining that. Flavor is watery, but neutral, no skunky flavors. Some barley grains, light honeysuckles and hints of grass. . . . ya I’m stretching here for some description. Palate is watery, but not altogether passable as thin. Some decent refreshing body there is. Light, neutral, not skunked and macro tasting, so that’s worth something. Oh ya, no soap, no metal, no stale apples (though a bit of apples in the aroma). Rerate Better flavor than I remember, though it’s not as clean and flavorful and good as the 1, IMHO. sleepdirt (169), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Aug 16, 2004 Pale ale style. Goes flat pretty quick.
Pretty boring but passable on a hot day when you are thirsty. Some citrus notes are nice. kyzr (1119), Belgrade, Montana, USA Aug 8, 2004 Bright yellow with white head. Aromas of sweet malt. Flavors to match, very easy drinking beer, not a lot going on. Almost like water with a touch of malt extract added. Clean finish. mjg74 (1995), La Mesa, California, USA Aug 7, 2004 Looks like one of your typical lager beers. Not much aroma to speak of. Tastes pretty good for a pale lager. No skunk and a nice easy to handle flavor. radiomgb (1921), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Aug 4, 2004 Light gold in colour. Aroma was of mild hops, grains with a slight sourness. Flavour of light hops, grass, wheat. Light body, on the watery side. Finishes quite smooth with a medium length light bitterness. Pretty refreshing. Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 3, 2004 Golden color, light malty aroma, light sweet fruity taste, light body, light bitter finish. Mads Langtved (2246), Copenhagen K, Denmark Aug 2, 2004 Golden. watery. Lacks hops and bitterness. A boring (and horrible) beer. JonMoore (1561), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England Jul 28, 2004 Updated: Aug 19, 2005Bottle. Golden colour. Nice malt taste, good hop aroma, crisp and thirst quenching. An above average lager.
