Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark Jul 22, 2004 Golden coloured. Light aroma with malty notes. Sweet and slightly fruity flavour. Eructoblaster (1477), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Jul 17, 2004 Pale gold body with quick fading bubbly head. Average malty aroma with some fresh herbal hints. Taste is refreshing. Bready and hoppy flavors are followed by a short bitter final. As for the other baltic macro lagers, it is boring but quite drinkable. thegreenrooster (1811), St.louis, Missouri, USA Jul 8, 2004 Pours a yellow with a huge head. Aroma is very metalic. Flavor is bland and tasteless. Can be found all over Russia. I met a group of Russians in Poland after i had been to Russia. They asked me what beer i had tried in Russia, I replied Baltika. They all looked at each other and told me Baltika is crap. duff (5474), Surrey, Greater London, England Jun 30, 2004 Bottle. After walking all day, i picked this up and Tesco, and sat down and drank it in front of the football (Czeck Republic v Denmark), to be honest it did the trick, this was pretty bland and all that, but innofensive. invalid (302), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jun 25, 2004 Bottle in Tomsk (Siberia). Nothing very special here. Below average pilsner that you don’t have to get too far out of your way to find. 24 ounces for less than a dollar here makes this beer tastes better hehe. sayravai (3720), Helsinki, Finland Jun 14, 2004 (Bottled) Very pale yellow color with a medium, foamy head. Practically no aroma, maybe a hint of hops. Sweetish lemon flavor with some malt and little hops. Quite creamy and soft, light-bodied, sugary palate with medium carbonation. A quite tasteless and boring, but surprisingly creamy (or maybe foamy is the word) pale lager. More enjoyable than Saku Originaal. DanielBrown (1919), Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, England Jun 14, 2004 Bottle at the Jam House, Birmingham. Awful, appalling beer. Thin, sickly sweet, no bitterness and a lingering murky mush taste. Damnful beer, even amongst macro Lagers, and a waste of my time and money. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA Jun 5, 2004 Light straw color, small white head that had a decent hangtime then faded to a small lace.Sweet malt and lemony aroma with a slight amount of hops thrown in.Lightly sweet taste with a light malt and hops with a nice lemony side, there is also a slight metallic taste upfront but it fades quickly. Not a bad brew at all in fact it pretty decent, much better then the #9 i just had, more then worth trying again.
