Taste is crisp with a nice mellow hop flavor. Flavor is great when you are only allowed 2 beers a week. berkshirejohn (1840), Bracknell, Berkshire, England
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 14, 2007 500ml bottle from Waitrose - "Imported by Scottish & Newcastle" Pale straw with a thick white head, looks like a typical eurolager; tastes better than most though - fairly full in the mouth with a slightly sweet malty flavour, and a crisp finish. Not bad! Dorwart (1832), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 12, 2003 Thin head which does not last long. Pretty blue label though. Aroma is light with malts and a slight wiff of hops. Somewhat musty smell also. Color is a pretty pathetic light gold color. Flavor is weak and watery. Finish is dry a slightly bitter. There are plenty of better lagers out there and even some decent beers by Baltika. thornecb (1822), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 19, 2008 Pours piss yellow into a shaker. White sickly head. Macro adjunct aromas. Sweet and crisp upfront, turns cloying in the finish. Unpleasant. rederic (1816), montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 8, 2005 Bright gloden color, with a big frothy white head, pale malt, floral hops and fruity aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp sweet pale malt, with a fading low mild hops finish. Not much to say about this one! Schroppfy (1813), Ohio, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 3, 2003 Better ingredients than I would have thought, and a weird case where I got more corn adjunct sweetness while cold as opposed to warm. The warmth brought out a pretty decent flowery hop, but also major tingly hop , character. Sweet bready malt. Could stand a little more oilyness to the body. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA
