2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 1B). Bottle 50 cl - Batch 5W. AROMA: mild cereal aroma with no hop presence. APPEARANCE: very pale yellow color and cristaline. thin white head with low retention. TASTE: slightly sweet cereal flavour with a very low bitter and almost dry finish. PALATE: thin body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: another bulk pale lager only meant to be thirst queching.

50cl Can from Costa. Clear pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of light malts, carbonated water, minerals, some aspartame, paper, hay. Flavour is sweet, paper, hay, teeny-tiny hint of cocoa or toast, light bitterness in the finish, papery mouthfeel. Light-bodied. It’s drinkable.

0,5 l can kindly provided by a neighbour. Pours a clear sparkling golden body with a short lived white head. Sugary nose laden with wet cardboard. Mouth is the same, and the stale bitterness promotes the cardboard. Light bodied.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
bottle @ Jungle Jim’s / Eastgate OH --- Clear medium amber with a frothy 2" white head, dots and flares of lace. Looks like the old commercial ads for the National brands years ago.Taste is malt with something else that doesn’t change as it moves through the palate to a finish with only a hint of hops along with carbonation. Short finish. Looks pretty good, taste is thin and weak.

1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
DATE TASTED: February 8, 2015... GLASSWARE: Baltika stange... OCCASION: post-workout protein during the Cavs stomp of the Lakers... APPEARANCE: clear as crystal golden body--classic pilsener build--with vibrant effervescence; promising white head settles swiftly to a reasonable quarter-inch coverage; zero lacing... AROMA: biscuits and bread, with funky bad-breath elements forcing their way through the glass--a turn-off ... PALATE: mildly effervescent, oily, fizzy and long bitter, astringent ending ...TASTE: mildly sweet, with faint caramel; a pungent finish, with awkward, cloying unbalanced corn maltiness--were are the hops? ...OVERALL: the dark offered a malty character; this suggests the palest lager with enough malt to affirm its allegiance...

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a 500CL bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a soft aroma of malt and maybe some grass
Appearance- A straw yellow color with a fairly large white head.
Taste- Has an ok malt flavor comparable to other Euro Pale Lagers
Palate- A light bodied beer with moderate carbonation has a crisp finish.
Overall- An OK beer, if you haven’t tried it I would suggest it to knock it off your list.
