Clear pale yellow body with a large frothy white head. Sweet corn, grain, slight skunk aroma and a touch of grassy hops. Sweet grainy honey flavor with light grassy hop hints. Light body with fairly high carbonation and a smooth but grainy finish.

Pale gold, slightly yeasty malt aroma, light malt palate, no distinguishing features.

Finally I tried the lager beer of Baltika (3). I expected a much better beer after having the baltika 6 (porter). However all I tasted was an average , unispired lager.

Disappointing. Almost tasteless. Pours ugly clear yellow color. Fizzy head does nothing to save this one from the drain.

Bottle. While it tastes like just about any other pale lager you can come across, it actually was pretty decent. A little weak, but (for what you should expect) it has a nice malt and hop flavor. It’s pretty smooth, and did not feel overcarbonated like so many domestics.

16.9 oz bottle- A clear golden color with a big white head. An aroma of corn and skunk. Taste of corn and a little malt and a little watery. I was expecting worse coming from Russia but its not bad.

Faint hops and corn aroma. Light golden yellow body with decent carbonation, small head, sparse lacing. Flavor is bland, corny grass and alcohol. Palate: There is none. This beer is a classic example of... Whatever :-(

Boring beer with some good qualities like the foamy head that leaves ample lacing on the glass. However, in a category with hundreds and hundreds of others.
Gold with really fizzy head as on a ginger ale, dissipates fast. Sweet yellow cake-like nose with some odd mayonnaise aromas. Soft but high carbonation. Sweet, very sweet, and phenolic finish. Weird stuff.
