A little more interesting than expected, some biscuity malt with a sharp CO2 twang, but on the whole a thin mass produced pale lager. Imported by Scottish Courage, I see, well it is a little more tolerable than their efforts over here. Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Bad look, bad smell, bad mouthfeel.. Ugh Tastes like TUSSIN, or Vapo-Rub or some awful childhood medicine. I don’t even know how that’s possble DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | May 8, 2005 (16.9 oz bottle: $2 at Wine Time in La Jolla, CA) There’s just something visually appealing to a yellow, crystal clear beer, topped by a large white head, with an army of carbonation bubbles rising through the beer. Independent of what the beer smells and tastes like, it’s at least pretty to look at. Unfortunately, that’s the end of my praise for this beer. The nose is dry and grassy. Dry, grassy, lightly grainy flavor shows mild bitterness. There’s some cardboard flavor going on here, but it’s not overwhelming. Light bodied with a fairly well carbonated mouthfeel, zesty enough to break up what might be an awful aftertaste. Not a very enjoyable beer, but it’s not among the worst either. Maybe on par with BMCs, but it’s been awhile since I’ve had one of those. AdamSkillin (376), High Bridge, New Jersey, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Apr 7, 2006 Pretty ordinary. Dull and boring boring boring. Flat head and a blandness which is overwhelming. Tick it off as another beer rated, thats about it. patrick767 (2058), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 22, 2006 bottle - Pours pale yellow and fizzy... yep, it looks like a typical macro lager. The mild aroma has light malt and a hint of hops. The flavor is grainy and light and the body is watery, though not as thin and flavorless as some beers of this style. At least it’s better than Baltika 9. EithCubes (2177), Indiana, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 7, 2008 Bottle. Barely-there aroma, surprising considering the relative pleasantness effusing from the 2. Really, almost nothing there - maybe a touch of vomit? Clear golden body with a lot of carbonation and a lacing, rocky/soapy white head. Thin body with very thin flavor - thin malt, thin grainy taste, touch of tartness, mild sweetness. Pleasant and inoffensive, not cloying or too dirty, just nothing here. Geokkjer (256), Kristiansand, Norway
